saw today's episode and was confused..Thought all this while that she was just not ready to start her newly wedded life but she had erased past memories.but today showed her remembering her life with Jagya...Could someone please clear my doubt on this?

it's not abt JAGAT...it's abt her earliar marraid life.. it's abt a persone who used to love her suddenly leave her... which gave her immanse pain...insult...

now again she is standing in a same situation... where her husbend is eagerly waiting for her...

and remember one thing..if she is in love with jagat she will naver get ready to get marraid..she had every chance to back off from this marraige.shiv himself give her that chance and she herself told shiv... isliye zaroori nahi ki agar woh apne past ko yaad ker rahi ho that means she is remembering jagat...

Mind / heart is not a slate that you can erase everything. She moved on from jagya doesn't mean she forgets everything and has selective amnesia of jagya part😆. I think it means she doesn't expect / want jagya back in her life.

She is just reminded of her times with jagya because of the similarity of situation. Jagya also remembered Anandi in similar situation, when he was the one who dumped her and said that his true love is Gauri. And Anandi - i don't know if she even loves Shiv at this moment. Even if she does love shiv, she certainly hasn't realised. So its possible, i guess.

Is it truly possible to erase all memories? unless one has a brain hemorrage or a stroke or some other neurological tragedy?

For a human being, who has not had any of these conditions, all sorts of memories of the past will always be there when they progress through life.

They may just not show up on a day to day basis, but they will definitely show up when there is some emotional stress which acts as a trigger.

Someone may not miss a dead relative the other 364 days of the year, but on their death anniversary when they do "shraadh" etc. memories may crop up.

Similarly at this point, anandi is under some emotional stress with respect to suhaagraat, and so the old sr memories will come back.

fd was just a deju vu of similar situation...after the fb she looked disgusted with those memories...jagya used her n dumped her hence she has developed fear of intimacy she is afraid it might be dumped again

yes,it is true that you cannot erase memories.They will remain a part of your life forever,. But,over time,they do not nag you so much as they used to when they were fresh.

It really depends on you how you handle them. One man ditched her,that does not mean some one else will also do the same.

Anandi should realise this and begin her married life with a happy and contented note. Unless she is happy,she cannot make others happy. It is her responsibility that others are happy in her company and Shiv gets his due without further delay.😉
