PART-III

Walia House,
Jai's Room,
Saturday Morning 10:00am

The drapes that covered Jai's room were protecting him from the sunlight. Jai had finally gotten some sleep at 5:00am in the morning. He was drowsy and was sleeping in.

Jai's parents were surprised when the clock ticked 10:00am. Jai Walia was late. He left for the office even on Sundays at 9:00am sharp. And today Jai was nowhere in sight.

Jai was sleeping and was in his own world. All of a sudden the drapes parted and sunlight began to come on Jai's face, he closed his eyes further more but rays of the sun kept penetrating his sleep. Jai became uneasy and put a pillow over his face and turned away from the sun.

Then he felt someone tickle him in his ears, Jai tried to shake the intruder but the intruder kept on disturbing Jai's sleep. And then came on the other side where Jai was facing brought the hot cup of coffee and put his finger in the cup.

Jai screamed like a 8-year old boy. And when he got up to yell at the intruder he was stunned and shocked to find the smiling face of Bani infront of him. Jai jumped on his bed when he saw Bani standing in front of him. And seeing Jai like this Bani started laughing hysterically and Jai could not believe this was happening.

He started to get hold of Bani and but Bani ran away from him and he was chasing her and she was running away from him. Bani was throwing at him whatever she could get to save herself from Jai. And Jai kept dodging pillows, cushions, bedsheet and anything that Bani laid her hands on.

He was muttering that Bani I will not leave u for doing this to me. I will teach u a lesson. And seeing all this were two astonished parents who were standing in Jai's room and seeing their sons antics and Jai's bed was all over the place and so was Jai.

Jai's parents were amused and stunned to see Jai like this. I mean he was behaving normal 😆. Jai Walia and normal that could be the headline of the day.

Jai's mother shook him and he finally snapped out of his dream and looked at the mess his room was in and had a very embarrassed look on his face when his mother told him that he had done this.

Jai looked stunned and said that he was having a bad dream and his mother said I did not know people giggle and have fun when they have a scary dream, do let me know what you were dreaming about so next time I can also have such a lovely scary dream. She did not tell him that he was yelling Bani's name.

Jai's parents told him to get ready as he had to go to office and the breakfast would be ready by the time he comes down.

Jai shocked his parents and said he will not be going to office today and will be spending the day at home and maybe go out somewhere in the evening. With that Jai got up and went to freshen up and take bath.

After getting ready for the day Jai kept thinking that he had to speak to Bani before he went crazy. He already knew he had been completely smitten by her.

He decided that it was time to take a bold step so he was going to ask Bani out.

With that in mind, Jai went to get his breakfast.

Dixit Residence,
Bani's Room,
Saturday morning, 11:00am

Bani was getting ready for the day. The flashes from last night were still fresh in her mind she could not believe that something like this could happen to her.

She had already shocked her mother in the morning when she thought that Jai was sitting next to her bed fiddling with her hair and she had screamed with delight when she thought he had kissed her on her cheek.
She kept muttering Jai don't do that what will my mother say. I do not want her to know that you are in my room. Jai stop kissing me now.

Rekha Dixit was stunned and shocked to hear Bani muttering Jai's name and god knows what!!! She woke Bani up and told her to get ready and come for breakfast.

Bani did not know that her mother had heard her saying Jai's name. And decided it was time to speak to Jai about their relationship.

With that in mind she came down to have breakfast with her mother.

Walia House,
Dining Table,
Saturday Morning, 11:30am

Jai comes down and is ready to have breakfast. He mutters that today he is having breakfast so early I mean it is only 9:30am. His parents are thinking that their son has started to loose it.

Jai's father tells him it is 11:30am and not 9:30am in the morning. Jai looks at the clock in the dining room and is shocked, but laughs at the sametime. He cannot believe that he is late. The ever punctual Jai Walia is late and he is happy.

Jai always has creal with cold milk, fruits for breakfast as he is very health consicous. And he is about to have his cereal when he sees Bani coming with a plate of hot aloo parathas and she tells Jai that she has prepared it herself. Will he not taste it?

Jai in his excitement says, "Sure I will love to have aloo parathas that u have made Bani." Thank you.

His parents almost choke on their food as they cannot believe what they have just heard. Since morning this is the second time he is dreaming about Bani and this time with his eyes open. It was now confirmed that Jai was in love with Bani.

Jai's parents look at him and say,"Beta, I hope Bani is bringing some aloo parathas for us also."

Jai is too embarrassed now this is the second time he has been caught thinking about Bani. But he thinks this is the first time he yelled her name in front of his parents and just smiles and walks away.

Jai before leaving tells his mother that he wants to have a nice Indian meal today no sandwich for lunch.

He tells his shocked mother to make sure that the lunch menu should have poori, aloo mutter, kadi, chole,boondi raita and kulfi for dessert.

Jai Walia wants sweetdish for dessert even Tony cannot believe his ears. He looks at Jai and cannot believe that is this the same Jai Walia or soemone impersonating him? He was never seen Jai this happy.

Jai's parents are happy and smiling that after such a long time Jai is back to himself.

Dixit Residence,
Dining Room,
Saturday 11:30am

Bani and her mother are having breakfast. Bani always has a cup of tea with two brown bread toast lightly buttered. She rarely has a omelette.
This is her staple breakfast.
Just as she is about to begin. She is stunned to find Jai smiling at her he has a apron and chef hat she cannot stop laughing. He has made a spanish omlette for her. This is her favorite omelette.

He comes to her and says "Bani I have made this for you. Why don't u try and tell me if u like it?"

Bani in her excitement says," I would love to have the spanish omelette u have made for me Jai." Thank you so much.

This time her mother who was sipping hot tea almost burned her tongue when she heard Jai's name. She was looking at her daughter talking to someone and she could see anyone. She could not believe that Bani was daydreaming about Jai.

She decided she had to do something before her daughter lost it completely. She knew she had already lost it.

Kohli House,
Living Room,
Saturday evening 5:00pm,

Jai has visited with his parents to meet his sister and his niece and nephew. He is just talking with Anu and Saahil.

Jiggs, Ranveer, Aditya and Jai's parents narrate mornings incident about Jai. Jiggs and others just cannot stop laughing about it. At the sametime they are delighted that Jai has begun to heal.

Just as they are conversing what to do. Bani arrives with her mother. Ranveer had called them for dinner. Ranveer and others greet Bani and her mother and then Bani goes with Ranveer to chat with him.

Bani's mother narrates the morning's incident to them about her daughter and when Jai's parents also tell her what has been happening with their son. Both cannot believe that the fire of passion is so intense on both sides.

Jai is busy talking with Anu and Saahil when Bani comes with Ranveer. When Jai-Bani see each other they both are thinking that they are dreaming about each other. I mean since morning it was been a chaos for both of them.

Both are just looking at each other and not speaking for the simple fact that they both will make a fool of themselves again when they realize that this is just a dream.

Ranveer coughs and they come out of their daze and both realize that they both are facing each other and it is not a dream and once again their eyes lock.

Ranveer asks Saahil and Anu to come with him as he does not want to disturb them.

Once both Jai-Bani find themselves alone, they start to talk about things in general. Jai is waiting for the right moment to ask Bani out and Bani is waiting to ask Jai if there is a future in this relationship.

Finally both decide to talk enough run around the bush, Both speak simultaneously. Bani tells Jai to go ahead first.
Jai looks at her and says " Bani I do not know how to say what I am about to say but understand that what I will tell you comes from the core of my heart. Bani will you like to spend the entire day with me tomorrow?"

Bani is stunned and is too shocked with delight. Jai is thinking maybe he said too much too soon and in haste. He cannot take back what he has said. He is hoping she says yes but if she says no then he prays to God that she gently declines him.

Few minutes pass and there is silence between them.

This is the most awkward moment for both of them.

Finally Bani tells him,"Yes, Jai I would love to spend the entire Sunday with you"

Bani's answer leaves Jai delighted to no end. He cannot believe that they will be spending the entire day tomorrow together and most importantly, alone. He is so delighted that he gets up and hugs Bani and tells her to be ready by 9:00.

As both of them are hugging each other they realize this and smile and walk away slowly from each other before something else happens.

Both are delighted and their hearts are accelerating with the thought that tomorrow may be a start of a liftime together.

Jai has a day full of surprises for Bani to make their first date a memorable one. Bani has also planned surprise for Jai.
