Zoe has long moved beyond Asad's six-packs , even though she doesn't mind teasing him or flirting with him. Now, if we actually look at it, Zoe's intrigue, attraction, obsession is more about Asad - the person. Woh aise kyun hai Phoophi? Kya wo bachpan se hi aise hain? If Dilshee and Tamaatar think about it, Zoe's fixation for Asad is more than obvious. If i was a mother and a girl asked so many questions about my son with whom she apparently doesn't even get along , i would start getting thought bubbles of my grandkids.😆...Zoe wants to know 101% of Asad. If he is not in office , why is he not in office? And since Zoe does not know Asad as a person at all , her mind and heart conjure up a superhero image. This is her subconscious mind that sees Asad as a HERO and her imagination reflects that. She is now scared of him, gets tongue tied in front of him, runs away from him but still runs back to him. Zoe's fixation for Asad is turning into an obsession.
Asad , meanwhile, has a surface control over his multiple feelings for Zoe but we all know the truth. Asad's calmness remains only till Zoe doesn't push him to an edge . Then, all the physical tension , the man-woman assertion-resistance comes rushing to the surface. He saw Zoe behave out-of-sync twice and if it happens again and again, expect Miss.Farouqui cornered at some wall answering Asad's question paper. Its like even if Asad tries to forget Zoe, she will always be flashbulb-ing in front of him.
Asad-Zoe , in one word, are COMPLICATED.
Opposite to that , i also liked what i saw of Ayan and Humaira today. Childhood friends, always teasing and always flirting but TOGETHER in the sun and in the rain. Ayaan's warm and loving request that Humzie should not tell anyone about his injuries and Humaira's glassy-eyed but understanding promise that she will. The bond of trust as they kept their hands on each-other. Ayaan may not love Humaira today but she is his equal and his partner in crime and good. Who can accept Ayaan with all his shades but Asad and Humaira. What makes me ship Ayaan and Humaira is their trust in each-other and their mutual understanding beneath all the shallow boy-girly thingy they keep doing. If the writers pay a little more attention to them, its a relationship to remember.
P.S- Zoe should be shifted to Asad's room. Always in Asad's room doing nain-matakka with him. 😉
