I am a bit confused by your post. Do you mean to say first ever soap/serial that we watched regardless of channel etc.?

If that is what you are asking, my first has to be Nukkad on Doordarshan right from my childhood days back in India. I was hardly 5 yrs old yrs old I think when Nukkad started, so I barely have any memories of it. But, I do have some memories of sitting with my parents to watch it.

OMG, it seems like ages.

And then there were Ramayan, Khandaan, Space City Sigma, Mahabharat, Mogli, Potli Baba Ki, Baingan Raja.

Hahahaha...the list is never ending.

Yeah Jigyasa was good I loved her role and that actress is strong in her acting I like her work

Ram kapoor rocked and Jay bani pair was the best at that time .. !!!

but just like ekta kapoor shows it started story leep and bani left and some one else replace her so i left it... !!!
