Why are halki & Fulki so mean to Savitri

Savitri has done nothing wrong with them.Why are they so mean to her. i don't understand. Atleast Savitri has kids. Halki does not even have a kid.

all i know is that these 2 are living with their brother, which says loads. Their mother is in rush ti get rid of her grand daughters yet her own live in the same house

I am confused- is Fulkiben married? She seems to wear sindoor, or am I mistaken? 😕 Anyway, in such a conservative family, why would she still be unmarried?
