Bored with the BIG names...?

Just wanted to know or is it just me... aren't you guys bored the same stars performing on award functions or hosting again and again. Example :

Kareena Kapoor, SRK, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif...u can add more names...

Don't mind i love these actors but they are all over the places televisoin shows, promoting their movies 24/7, will do anything to seek media's attention...and by the time their films releases i get sick of them...

I want to see fresh new stuff at least during the award shows, i'm sick of SRK (i'm a fan or used to be?)

hosting and talking about himself bla bla bla or Kareena Kapoor (who can't even dance except pouting, making those silly faces) i used to like her (my user name is after her)

And Salman Khan performing ??? i am sorry if he didnt had those hit songs he would look lost on stage...

They should keep a certain mystery about them...what do u guys think?????

Bored? No. Definitely new comers should get a chance but im not bored with big names!:) They are the reason im into Bollywood especially SRK and SK. Bollywood will be done for me if they leave!

i'm not saying they should leave, they have contributed alot for the industry.

i'm just saying less is more...

I have no problem with your opinion:) I know what you mean. Yes less would be better and others should be given a chance but I was just saying im not bored of 'em:)

Hell yeah! It's sick seeing the same faces across hoardings outside, on TV, in ads, online! They even sneak in news channels. They've now come in sports matches, business dos, social activism, government campaigns - they are everywhere! I dislike overdose of old stars like Big B, Hema Malini, Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha too! Why show up everywhere? Same for these Madhuri, Anil, Sanjay Dutt types. They'll show up on all TV shows!

The Khans, Katrina, Kareena, PC are over-exposed like anything! Even hard news in India gets clogged with comments from celebs! News channels go bonkers showing filmi comments whereas they should be showing some expert or politician's comments.

Stars used to have an aura, a certain mystique till late 90s. Since 2000 they started bombarding public everywhere. Earlier we used to look forward to select ads, award show performances. And we'd watch any film just to see the star. Now it's all changed. Stars even go to schools and universities as chief guests! Give us a break!

New stars are needed but even they should avoid going madly overboard in hogging limelight. It's boring to see same faces pop up everywhere every day!

me too and without Salman the shows are nit entertaining..I love seeing him on stage.I also enjoy Akshay has he engerizes the stage and gets the audience involved!!

Am not bored of watching Srk, Sallu, and bebo perform.. newcomer or old comers.. these stars I named are unmatchable in terms of entertaining me.. their energy level on stage esp bebo and Srk.. is so fun to watch. There both are not great dancers.. but something about them (maybe their charisma) makes me wanna see them more and more. After their perf ends... I have this huge smile on my face. Can't wait for bebo's perf on fevicol se, Halkat, and Chamak challo during next years award season. Also can't wait for Sallu's perf on Dabangg 2 songs. Others don't care much for apart from Katrina.. I enjoy her performances too mainly because she's a good dancer.. Maduri is awesome too.

that said yes others should get a chance too.. and they do.. the stage is big enough for everyone to perform.. but mostly these small stars disappoint in terms of their stage perf.. no wonder they keep repeating the big stars to perform.
