rk and madhu: baby!!!!
but the old lady had already turned back and moved a little ahead.
madhu :but he is not my husband!!!
old lady turns back and says: oh. so he is your fiance!!!
madhu: no...
old lady : you are meant to be together.
before any of them could say anything the signal turned green and they drove ahead but her words were still ringing in madhu's mind.
suddenly rk started to laugh.
madhu : (annoyed) what's so funny?
rk : she thaught you were having a baby!!!!
madhu : she might have mistaken me for someone else.
rk : she may have but it only shows how fat you are so that people consider you to be pregnant!!!
madhu : (yells) i am not fat!!
rk : oh really but that lady didn't think so.
madhu: i am warning you rk . didn't said i was fat . she only blessed us.
rk : (giggles) blessing!!! that baby would be a weapon of mass destruction. imagine we two atom bombs having our own hydrogen bomb.
madhu felt her cheeks becoming red hot.so she decided it was better to look out of the window.
rk glanced at her and saw her stupidly happily staring out of the window. there was something different about her.
soon they reached her house and madhu found khushi standing in garden with a plate in her hand.
khushi: so here are you!!! anjali ji called us and told us everything.
khushi grabbed madhu's hand and knocked on rk's window. rk rolled down his glass.
khushi: although you have troubled her so much already but i must say thank you for dropping her home.
rk : thanks...by the way were you cooking??
khushi : yes. (to madhu) look madhu i told you the smell was coming till the end of street also. look even he found it.
rk : mm...actually i just figured out from your dress.
khushi looked at herself. she was wearing an apron and it was stained all over with different curry stains. she even had hints of flour in her hair.
khushi : (handing out the plate) then you must try them.
rk had no option but to pick one slice of pizza she made.
madhu watched anxiously as rk ate as she was afraid he might say something which may heart khushi. but instead something happened other way round.
khushi: how was it??
rk : awesome!!
khushi : really !! then please wait for a minute.
khushi rushes inside. madhu notices rk smiling at khushi.
madhu : (a little jealous) why did you lied to her??
rk : what lie??
madhu : that you liked pizza!! i know you didn't liked it.
rk : and may i know how??are you my wife,fiancee or girlfriend?
madhu: look don't indulge khushi in our fight.
rk :i am not indulging anyone. she is unlike you. and i think i can smell someone is burning.
madhu : (angry) i am not jealous!!!
khushi came out with a tiffin box.she handed it to rk.
khushi : this is for anjali ji.
rk : (looking at madhu) and for me??
khushi: oh they are enough for you two.
madhu : khushi what will be left for us if you distribute all.
khushi : don't worry i have made enough for two days.
rk :(helds out his hand) friends!!! rk.
khushi: (shakes his hand) khushi kumari gupta.
rk : that's so tricky.
khushi: just like me (winks)
madhu was getting jealous at their proximity.
madhu : (interrupting ) khushi don't you think we should have our own breakfast now.
khushi : sure. bye rk!!
rk : bye
he then drives off. but he was still confused by the look on madhu's face.
also for first time madhu felt jealous of khushi. she didn't wanted her and rk to come close but why?
madhu : (hinting indirectly) i don't think you should make friends so easily.
khushi: but he is not that much bad.he is far better than that arnav singh raizada.
madhu wanted to clearly tell khushi but couldn't.
next day:
whole class was relieved when they found that mr. mehra was on an outdoor trip and hence would not be able to conduct their classes for at least one week.
this meant that they got some extra time to work on their project.
next few days went quietly until they saw two notices on notice board.
first was about the upcoming freshers night and college excursion trip.
second one was about the annual function to held next month. it's auditions were starting from tomorrow and students were invite to showcase their talent.
khushi was all too excited to participate in dance competition. she rushed to give auditions but was disheartened to find that she needed a partner to pair with.
madhu knew how much disheartened khushi was.
madhu : can i suggest khushi?
khushi : what?? please say anything but not to team up with arjun.
madhu : you can ask arnav.
khushi: what??
madhu : give it a thought khushi you can ask him.
khushi : and what if he rejects.
madhu: then maybe challenge him.
khushi reached classroom and went to arnav.
khushi: i wanted to ask something.
arnav: what?
khushi: i ...err...how is your hand??
arnav: it's fine but please ask the main question.
khushi: will you be my partner at dance competition?
arnav: what??
khushi: don't forget we are partners at the english project and if i did anything wrong you will lose your marks too.
arnav: you are threatening me?
khushi : no not threatening i am just challenging you that if i outscore you at our next weekly assessment then will you agree to be my dance partner?
arnav: (smirks) so you are challenging me??
khushi : (nervous) yes i am. so do you agree.
arnav: done.
madhu went to auditorium were auditions were going. she was taking care of arrangements backstage.
they were going to showcase the famous Shakespeare play - TAMING OF THE SHREW.
it was a story about two sisters kate and bianca. kate being arrogant and shrew while the later one being more desirable.then comes a gentleman from verona petruchio who takes up the challenge to marry kate and transform her into and obedient wife.
the auditions began and madhu was busy helping drama teacher tammana .they decided to little modernize the play.
undoubtedly rk was selected for the lead role of petruchio.
afterwards trishna was selected for the role of bianca.
after next few days they selected dipali as kate.
whereas khushi was busy studying hard day and night as she wanted to win at any cost. now it was a question of her pride.
after one week weekly assessment exams were held but khushi was not sure if she would be able to outscore arnav.
also the practice for the play were going with full swing except for one thing - that the dipali was a terrible actor. she constantly reported late and forgot lines. there was no chemistry between her and rk . and rk being an excellent actor overshadowed her part.besides she was interested in romantic scenes and coming close to rk.
so they were still hoping to find a girl who could argue and fight with rk as naturally as kate with petruchio.
