Zoe! Zoe! Zoe! ... Ye ladkee bistar pe pade pade bhi Asad ko paagal kar sakti hai. 😆...Asad is so guilt-ridden, confused and emotionally vulnerable right now that he wants to take care of Zoe every step of the way. Its his way of saying sorry, of apologizing because EXPRESSING is not his nature. Jo baat Asad ke mann mein hai, bas usske mann mein hai.
Its adorable how he wanted to nurse Zoe., hold her hand, support her every step of the way . Aur phir? Madam Zoe ki energy waapis aa gayi aur unhone apne Jahanpanah ko dho daala. More than anger and hatred, it was hurt and wounds written all over her face. If you hear her angsty emotional lecture to Asad in the dining hall, you will realize that more than it being about a daaku type nikaah, she was still upset about how Asad saw her as a woman. How Asad judged her all the time and hated her for her liberal spirit. More than it all being about 'Agar mera nikaah ho jaata toh' , it was about ' Mujhe chott lagee , Mr.Khan'. ...Asad wanted to say a lot , perhaps even a 'sorry' , but his timing went faulty and Zoe , clearly told him that she didn't need his 'sorry'.
And then...
A weak, fragile and exhausted Zoe gently fell on his frame like a feather of peace. And Asad's old look of half-irritation and half-frustration came back. Itnaa lambaa lecture maara ki wo aadha bhool bhi gayaa and then, she lands on him by nature's timing , karma demanding him to pamper her. He just rolls his eyes and lifts her in his arms like a bratty baby. 😆...Yayy! Mil gaya nursing ka mauka. 😉
Zoe's child-like 'Mr.Khan. mujhe aapse baat hi nahiin karni.", "don't talk to me , Mr.Khan' and her recurrent calls to Asad to say the same thing over and over reflect both her hurt and gratitude. Hurt because Asad judged her and almost got her finished. Gratitude , or rather frustrated gratitude because Zoe doesn't hate him. She is angry , she is sulking but something inside her didn't want Asad to leave. And Asad? He came back to hear her gaaliyon ki dukaan everytime she called him.
The dining table scene and the precap were a killer.😆...Asad and Zoe looked like two kids. Asad, the deprived , neglected child sulking in a corner. Zoe, the pampered and preferred child , thanks to Dilshee and Tamaatar. 😆...Poor Asad. Abb to uskaa gussa karne ka bhi haque chalaa gaya. 😆
Precap: Yayyy! Zoe asked Asad what the audience has been asking all along. Itna gussa kis baat pe? Zoe tumhaare saath nikaah se thode na bhaagi hai, Asad Miyaa? 😉...And Asad's face when Zoe says that is KILLER!🤣
Asad is confused with a lot of emotions right now and Zoe , with her antics is giving him no time and space to think. He is haunted by the moments when Zoe was not in her senses and they both were vulnerable. A hell lot is driving him mad aur upar se Zoe ke naaz nakhre adaayein phir se shuru ho gaye.
