Can someone please help me understand why did Yash pretend that he is asleep when he realised that Aarti came back home? Why did he not want to confront her that he knew the truth and ask her to explain herself? I am kinda lost...😕

He is in love and I believe he doesn't want her to know that she let out the truth!

I guess he wants her to tell it on her own and not demand anything now!

it is because -- somewhere he believes , there is more to wgat arati has said
first he wants to know the reason behind her lie then he might confrnt her

He is in state where he has a fight within him. He might not able to collect the reasons for which he should confront her. Lie is hurting him or her obligation for this relationship or her past, he is struggling hard to collect himself. Once he will fine tune his confusion, he shall ask her! or better, let her disclose things to him officially. 😳

when someone betrayed to whom he trust more than himself or loved after its revealing he act just like that because he is hurted from inner self and he can't fight or part away his love one ...that's why Yash is behaving like that and he presented as a sensible and matured person so that's another reason that he is trying to show that Aarti's reality is still folded in front of him for that time when Aarti herself revealed it against him...

Yash is man of composure when it comes to others, he doesn't feel his 100% right on Arti is another reason for not blasting, he is matured and knows she has complicated pregnancy , he also will not like to keep someone elses possession unwillingly, he is so angry and frustrated that he has no words
