I flip my calendar, and sigh! 15 December is back too early…
As I battle my exams, I eye the date rounded off…
Darn! Another birthday thread to go…
Why does the year have to end so soon?
Anyways! As I stared at my lappy for some inspiration, I felt lost…
Images from google, that's too clich…
I couldn't do a short birthday story, didn't have a sane mind for that…
And siggies, I better not go there, coz I downrightly suck!
When I couldn't figure anything else, my insane mind popped up with an idea…
Of course I could do something insane this time, something which I'm a pro at …
Why didn't I think of it before?
And I started and continued, until I was satisfied…
You know me right, I wouldn't settle for anything less…
It had to be something that would irritate you immediately…
The USP of this one being the surprise element…
'Happy Birthday Old Fellow'
Long time ago, on a cold December night,
Heaven shone clear dazzling bright.
Stars were beautifully glimmering,
All around, human beings were shivering.
Christmas, New Year, festivities were near,
Love was in the air, everywhere.
Some magic had captured the earth,
It was when that Angel took birth.
The world filled up with laughter and joy,
When they saw the smile of the boy.
Innocent as the dew, he stole hearts,
Perhaps he possessed Cupid's love darts.
As he grew, the angel flew away,
Instead, came the evil devil to stay.
Surprisingly, he's a devil so quaint,
His angel-ness, makes pro-people faint.
Mischievous and kind, he is both,
His heart's filled up with caring broth.
An irritating gem of a friend is he,
His advices are the cool shade of a tree.
A true and silly genius is his mind,
Solution to all, in a second he can find.
Really weird are his tastes of life,
His humour is too hard to survive.
But there's something about him to know,
For the person he is, he deserves a bow.
Only lucky people find a friend in him,
He can brighten your life, erasing the dim.
Cheeky and geeky, he has it all,
Meet my friend, I dare you not to fall.
So how was it? Birthday boy, hope you liked it!

I know the saying goes like – a picture is worth thousand words…
I can use one word to describe all the pictures…
It could be – perfect, boring, sucker, crap, and also, image…
