'Honeymoon' looks into arranged marriages

Young filmmaker Meghna Gulzar 's new film takes a peek into arranged marriages.
The film stars Fardeen Khan and Esha Deol as a newly wed couple on their honeymoon. Their marriage is not a love marriage, but an arranged one.
Meghna is quoted by a Mumbai-based newspaper as saying this about her movie: "I can't claim to offer a different take on a honeymooning couple…I am going to present a slice of their life in a film, the issues that couples married through an arranged set-up go through."
Meghna said she chose Fardeen Khan for the role because of his boy-next-door looks. She added she chose Esha Deol as his wife because the actress can convey the shyness and awkwardness of a newly wed girl.
Meghna is the daughter of lyricist, poet, filmmaker Gulzar . She made her directorial debut four years ago with Filhaal .
Fardeen and Esha were recently seen together in comedy film Pyare Mohan.
A 'Honeymoon' unfulfilled!

Meghna Gulzar's first film Filhaal was a sensitive movie, although a failure at the box-office. The young director is now returning with a movie that will be an out and out comedy.
As learnt, Meghna Gulzar been signed to direct a movie for Pritish Nandy Communications.

The movie, titled 'Honeymoon', will be a romantic comedy about a newly wed couple who are not able to consummate their marriage on their honeymoon in Manali. Everytime the two begin to spend their suhaag raat, something or the other happens and they are prevented from doing so.
While the male lead of the film has yet not been finalized, Esha Deol will be the film's heroine.
It looks okay.............wonder if they have any roles😳
