I would try to understand the circumstances under which the person lied..It won't take time to forgive if I love/respect the person deeply

That would be my initial reaction. When I had gathered myself a little, I would have tried to understand the circumstances under which I had been lied to. Unfortunately if the circumstances were like Aarti's, I would have forgiven her for everything , but to forget wouldn't have been possible. what would hurt most was her inability to trust me, and the BMT without even telling me...I would have told her how hurt I was, and would have told her that she had just taken away my rights towards Ansh..and henceforth i would never take any decision regarding him, because she obviously did not consider it necessary!

I would support her in front of all, and be quiet with her alone.

To wholly get over the thing would take time!

In my case, precisely becoz of the deep love, it would take a lot of time! also when u find out that the person u respected lied to u from day 1, initially u don't know whether respecting her is possible again!
