I feel it is Regulus Black (Sirius Black's brother).

But it might be Amelia Bones... She was also killed as per the book.

how abt ron arthur bill? lol...just an idea

i get the idea that this person died a loooong time ago cuz from the letter u can tell that he /she that there was only ONE horcrux and he/she was a DE (cuz of the "dark lord" thing)regulus died 16 yrs ago..rite? (connection..harry is 16...maybe he had something to do with harry's parents deaths?!)

I don't think R.A.B was responsible for Harry's parent's death. JKR clearly outlined that Wormtail was the culprit as he was the secret keeper who revealed their location to LV.

I dont think Malfoy's grandfather would go against LV - otherwise, LV would have never recruited his direct descendent.

No, I'm pretty sure that R.A.B are someone's initials. Whether its Regulus or not, that has to still be confirmed, but I'm pretty sure its him.

i agree with everything u said but i was just toying with the idea...and i didn't mean to say that regulus was the culprit to their deaths...i was just connecting the numbers..u kno: regulus died 16 yrs ago..did he try to save harry? wat did he do? i mean i kno he ran away and stuff..but why? was he JUST wimping out or did he do something....as of now regulus (15 yr old DE) seems the only one to fit the clues (but i do agree that at least one other person had to be there for that potion to be drunk)
