Dil se di dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava? Undoubtedly the antagonist/villain was and is the main lead on the show. He's never been called the supporting lead or parallel lead by actual reporting outlets as far as I know. He himself has called himself main lead or antagonist-cum-protagonist (meaning not positive character, but more in regards to mean a lead character. There's also that Rab Sona Ishq where I think Aashish Sharma has/had been tagged the lead. Don't know if that is still the case.In all the above two situations, the female would also be the main lead, obviously. Same goes for PSH.That brings up Amrit Manthan. Where she's the negative character/antagonist/villain, she's not only the epynomous character, but I've always seen her have first billing in articles. Which is different, because it's probably one example where the female lead has always come first. Then there's 2612, where Shikha Singh plays a negative character and antagonist, but Life OK itself has referred to her and the lead female character as the female protagonists. This is also an example probably of the female leads coming before the male protagonist.
