Ranbir Kapoor has just one release in Barfi! in 2012. But even that was enough to cement his place at the box office. He is the new rising star of Bollywood and lady luck is with him right now. With Barfi! Ranbir got his first 100 crore film at the box office. Moreover, Barfi! is one of the biggest grosser of 2012.

In 2011 Ranbir had one release in Rockstar, and that also went on to do hit business at the box office. So, what's special about this Kapoor lad. His script sense and choice of project. Ranbir is taking outmost care to select his films. The Kapoor blood in his genes might be helping him to do so. With 100% success rate in 2012, Ranbir is now looking ahead to 2013.

With 40 plus actors still ruling the box office, only Ranbir Kapoor and to some extend Imran Khan are putting their foot forward to stardom in Bollywood. For them to succeed further they need to have further better films in 2013. Ranbir is having releases in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani andBesharam in 2013. He will do Bombay Velvet also, but whether it will see the light in 2013 is the real question. With such exciting releases in 2013, whether Ranbir can again shine at the box office or not, it is to be seen.

He is the one! He's handling his career really right. He's doing different roles, selects good scripts, is now earning credibility.

Barfi doing 100 crore is just exceptional achievement! Other stars did masala or romance to get this mark, Aamir did different stuff but couldn't pull it through the 100 crore. The Barfi gang managed it all without much hype, holiday release dates, with less screens & unconventional content!

Hope he continues doing good stuff. There's no stopping him if he plays his cards right. He has no real competition as of now (among new actors).

yeah.i think over time ranbir has proved his acting skills through rockstar,barfi etc.hope we will again see itz repitition.i think after khans it will be era of kapoor.😎 though others are also good,but not as much as ranbir till now.
