I have been following the series from mumbai arc and was really impressed by gurmeet and kratika's chemistry. The show itself has a lots of substance but I always had an interest on how Gurmeet and Kratika would get out of their old iconic status which they had got from Geet and Jhansi ki Rani respectively. And honestly, the mumbai arc was the start of establishing their new identity. Gurmeet and Kratika got popular as individual actors and people started to love them as a couple.
The consummation and pregnancy arc gave them a platform on which they could build themselves as 'the' couple of zee tv. And from the forum and TRPs, it is evident that they were getting popular as a pair despite being subtle. They were doing an awesome job, they were building a chemistry totally based on expressions and eye contact which is very very difficult.
Prashant's entry seemed logical. But why bringing this Sajjan Singh's mommy? And why the CVs are bringing their ace pair in such a story line which would only hamper completing the tough task gurmeet and kratika were doing so well. It takes time to build a chemistry and gurmeet and kratika really had to climb a mountain to build one. Their previous iconic status, the demand of maximum subtleness in storyline, high dependency on eye contact and mild emotions...its not easy to do.
I wish even after the revelation, the CVs allow these two great actors to build on the hard work they have done for the whole year and let them go with the flow of the storyline. Suddenly a break wont be good for long term, specially when ArYa was getting better and better, Prashant can be dealt differently, ArYa doesnt have to be seperated or brought into a estranged relationship phase.What is your thought?
