FAMILY LIFE: Parmeet Sethi and Archana Puran Singh with their kids Pic: Santosh Harhare |
Our first Valentine's Day was…
Parmeet: Was on cloud nine. I remember it clearly. It was February 14, 1989 in Mumbai. Where we went and what we did…. now let that be.
Archana: Very beautiful, very memorable as he was to be my man for the rest of my life.
Valentine's Day is…
Parmeet: Honestly speaking, a chance to have good wine, good food and great sex. It is a mini-wedding anniversary. I have been celebrating Valentine's Day all my life. In college with my girlfriend (!) and now with Archana.
Archana: Love, togetherness, sharing, warmth and time to give and receive gifts.
Our relationship is…
Parmeet: Like a typical spicy Mumbai bhelpuri —- a mix of several things. We are husband-wife but we are also friends and colleagues.
Archana: Has its ups and down. This is a relationship we have got into; it is not related through blood and has to withstand time.
What I like in my spouse
Parmeet: The way she laughs loudly at the most stupid jokes.
Archana: His gentleness, he simply adores me and he is a one diehard romantic guy.
My complaint
Parmeet: Is that for the last two Valentines she has been working.
Archana: He is pigheaded and very stubborn and does not let go. This may help him in his professional life but not in his personal one.
