Akshay Kumar crosses 400 crore in a year

Akshay Kumar is said to have crossed the 400 crore mark with his films over the last calendar year.
The star has enjoyed commercial success in 2012 with Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore, OMG: Oh My God! and Khiladi 786.
Speaking just before the release of his current film, Kumar said: "Returning to the Khiladi series tomorrow with Khiladi 786 after a 12-year sabbatical.
"This film is special in more ways than one, it's almost an extension of my identity in the industry. Enough of emotion, hope you guys enjoy the film."
The project is reportedly performing at sold-out capacity in single screen cinemas in India.
Kumar also crossed the two million follower mark on Twitter earlier this month.
