I thought Dilshad was a strong woman...but today it left me thinking otherwise...I felt really embarrassed as a woman seeing her standing in front of Razia when she was bombarded with accusations and insults.

Why was she silent? Yes Dilshad is graceful and full of dignity but at the same time she has to stand up for herself...she has to stand up for her children. Being polite doesn't mean that you let ppl walk all over you...

When will indian television portray strong women characters and not such self sacrificing. It was highly irritating to see such regressive and oppressive behavior from women in the 21st century.

They will when people stop watching shows with weak women characters...if we dont watch it wont be on ..it is simple...It is the mentality of the viewer that decides what should be telecasted

and I was really shocked at Dilashad keeping her head down and just looking teary eyed...I expected her to have a totally diffrent reaction

While I watched, I thought the same thing. But, you know, its easy to argue back to someone like Razia. But, would be created out of that? A scene. As far as we are aware, Dilshad is one classy women, and unlike Razia, she isn't a bazaari woman who would say anything to escalate the argument further.

As a girl of now, I probably would defend myself. But, in a situation like today, the best way to show her dignity and class would be to not speak to someone like Razia at all. I do think the cold shoulder to people like her would be the best option. On the other hand, if Shireen was asking her, I do think she should speak up then. My two cents :)

*** I do wish she didn't cry though, and just walked out of there. She did try, but then again, it was a difficult situation.

In a situation like this the best thing to do is walk away, personally i would slap the B**ch. What i hated the most today was Dilshad bowed head and tears, u never bowed to your enemy n u never show weakness. if she was going to stand there n be insulted then fo gosh sake face your opponent head on. Asad having to defend his mother to that battle axed was unacceptable, but he was a true gentleman and good son today.👏👏👏
Rashid what a weak man he was the caused of all this n he just stood there like a fool, he should have defended her. Iloved what Asad told him stay away from his mom. this man does not deserved a wife like Shereen or Dilshad or even these kids because as we c they r the ones who r hurting the most.😔
I don't care what the reason is for leaving ones family for another, fine he decide to live with his second wife and family and desert his first family, then stick to your decision u cannot change your decision so late in the game. With every decision they r consequences n Rashid needs to live with the consequence of his action, be that what it may.😡

I agree... even if Dishad did not want to answer Razia, she should have just walked away with her head held high. By just standing and crying, she was allowing Razia to accuse her further. I wish she could have stood up for herself instead of her son.

What about the men??? They are never able to defend the woman they love 🤢 instead they want to save their back... More than dilshad it was the two timing rashid who disappointed me. No women how ever strong will actually respond on the spot if her character assasination is going on she will be shocked numb no idea what to say tears will flow it takes some time to compose yourself only then will you give back as you got.

Strong people are not necessarily the bra burning , firebrand who take to the streets. Strong people are most practical and keep the motions under tight control.
I do think Dilshaad is a strong woman in her own right. She love a guy. She lost him and has to bring up two children. She doen bring them up both beautifully. She looks gorgeous, has a refined and cultured taste. And more importantly in a patriarchal society she has single handedly managed and raised a family . Kudos to that I say.

After the baseless mud slinging she got from Razia TI is not very astounding that she was in tears. She was shocked and stunned that someone will end up calling wild names. Also she is not so uncouth that she will go about participating in catfight in public... where she will end up being loose as she will be called a other woman with a bigger audience.

I think Dilshad is a strong woman...she knows what she wants for herself ..& she follows her heart & speaks her mind !...Though she loves Rashid .. she has made a decision about not wanting Rashid in her life anymore & she made it known to Rashid too . ...now if Rashid keeps on acting stupid & sends her radio messages or play tickets ...its no fault of hers ! ..She tries to keep away from him & enjoys her life with her children...i mean she's happy with her space ...but its Rashid who keeps on goofing up & makes her life miserable !
Now abt her speaking up for herself in front of Razia ...well we all know besides being strong shes also a very elegant woman ! ...She couldnt make herself stoop in the standards of Razia & 've a cat fight with her ! but she did say the reason about her being there & it had nothing to do with Rashid !...Elegant women are those who are sensitive...considerate & most importantly practice restraint ...they usually try to curb what maybe offensive ! Dilshad did just that ...she couldnt just go on to make a scene over there with Razia !... & we 've seen both she & her chidren are very well mannered ... Asad never enters his moms or his sis's room without knocking ... Dilshad & her children always speak softly & u expect this woman to shout & defend herself in a crowded place !!...Its Rashid who should 've done all the talking there ...instead of pulling her hand or act smitten by her presence he should be a man enough to defend her ...& clear the misunderstanding !...He just acts like a spineless wimp ... & 'm absolutely tired of his character ...though i like Vaquar Shaikh as an actor ! I wished he was given a more strong character ...coz he doesnt at all suit the character he's been given ...he's got a very strong screen presence ...they should utilize that !

I think Dilshad is a strong woman. She tried many times to tell them that what they were thinking was wrong. Razia didn't give her a chance to explain. It's better that Dilshad didn't justify herself, why should she to someone like Razia who keeps calling her a baazari woman? Razia chooses to ignore the fact that Dilshad was scorned by her husband so that he could marry Shireen. Dilshad didn't bring that up and poor Shireen, being simple and foolish believed Razia. I was disappointed more in Rashid who just couldn't muster up the courage to say anything further. Why is he even looking to mend his relationship with Dilshad when he's with Shireen now? That gives people the chance to talk more when they know him as the husband of Shireen and then walking around and pursuing Dilshad.
