Babuji is walking around the garden, Bua comes along and they sit
down together. Bua expresses her concern about actually getting
Rimjhim married. Bua tells Babuji that they must not allow this
marriage to happen, its just not right, they shouldnt play with
Rimjhims future etc. Babuji looks at her as if he understands her
point of view but replies that he is looking out for Rimjhims future
by getting her married. Bua still thinks its wrong. Babuji says that
he stopped listening to his conscience a long time ago (Babuji looks
defeated by what is going on around him).
Durgashanker is walking out of the house when he bumps into Malini.
He says ''oh i was looking for you, i wanted to ask you if you have
any other relatives apart from this family?''. Malini is confused and
asks him ''why?''. Durgashanker says '' because soon you will have to
pack your things and go live with them!''. Malini says ''what??''.
Durgashanker tells her that things are going awry in the house and
Rimjhim is going to tell Avinash everything! Durgashanker explains
that the engagement was postponed for a month by Avinash which means
he really loves Rimjhim! Also Rimjhim and Yashoda are cooking up a
storm. Durgashanker tells Malini that Rimjhim is going to spill the
beans on EVERYTHING ''so do something quick''. Malini is shocked.
Pratik is at home when he gets a call from Dayashanker. Pratik tells
Dayashanker that he will not budge from his principles despite
Dayashankers threats. Pratik adds that he will send him and Mr
Agarwal to jail. Dayashanker attempts to apologize for his mistakes
and tells Pratik that he will accept any punishment, including jail
or even death. Pratik slams the phone down. Dayashanker thinks to
himself ''now Pratik must die''. Meanwhile Kaveri comes home and
attempts to talk to Pratik but Pratik is still blaming her and
Pratapji for sending thugs over. Kaveri tells him that she has done
no such thing. Pratik goes on about his principles and says he will
still stand by the poor workers. He tells Kaveri to give them justice
(as she is the labour commisioner).
Pratik goes outside and Yashoda sees him. Yashoda goes over to him
and tells him that she and he share a deeper relationship then just
friends. Yashoda tells him that she has always believed in him and
his principles and always will. Pratik tells her that his principles
are right and he will stand by them despite what everyone including
Rakesh says. Yashoda tells him not to take Rakeshs talks to heart.
Pratik tells her that he will help the workers. Yashoda offers to
talk to Kaveri, but Pratik declines saying that there is no need.
Kaveri listens from the window and i think shes actually thinking
about giving the workers justice (so the workers get new safer mills
to work on).
Rimjhim stands in the corridor looking focused about what she has to
do and then walks towards Avinashs room. She opens the door and sees
Malini standing there. Rimjhim is shocked. Malini tells her '' i told
you never to come in my room''. Malini says '' i know why your here,
you want to tell Avinash everything dont you, you want to tell him
that im his dushman and the dushman of this family!''. Rimjhim is
really shocked that Malini knows everything. Malini opens the drawer
and takes out a bottle and she says ''you know what this is, its
poison''. Malini calls Megha over and tells Megha that its medicine.
Rimjhim is really really shocked and has tears in her eyes. Malini
starts feeding Megha the poison. Rimjhim stumbles forward and lets
out an emotional cry ''what are you doing!!''. Malini feeds Megha
half the bottle then comes over to Rimjhim. Rimjhim is frozen almost.
Malini says ''u wanted to tell everyone everything about me huh?''.
Malini drinks the rest of the bottle. Then Malini says ''you think
this is poison?, it will be next time''. Rimjhim is crying and
sweating like a pig at this point. Rimjhim runs out of the room
crying and stumbling as if shes feeling sick. Avinash comes along and
sees her sweating and crying and asks her whats wrong. But Rimjhim is
helpless and cries in pain. Malini comes along and fakely says ''oh
no whats wrong Rimjhim''. Rimjhim turns and looks at Malini then
turns and looks at Avinash and just shouts ''nothing, leave me''.
Rimjhim runs off with Avinash looking at her in concern. Malini is
happy.
Later, Durgashanker is telling Malini that what she just did with
Rimjhim was brilliant, genius!! He asks her what shes going to do
next. Malini tells him that next she will let Rimjhim make the next
move then she will reverse Rimjhims move and call it checkmate.
Durgashanker looks impressed. Malini says ''however for now, she will
sort out that damn Yashoda''.
Rimjhim goes crying to Yashoda in the prayer room and tells her that
shes just been outdone! Malini has threatened Meghas life! Rimjhim
says she feels helpless. Yashoda says this is so bad as Malini is
stooping so low as to put an innoceot childs life on the line.
Rimjhim says she cant sacrifice Megha for the truth. Rimjhim and
Yashoda hug n cry.
Rakesh is with a fellow businessman, Durga and Malini are also
present. Rakesh looks over some paperwork and agrees to take a loan
from this businessman. The businessman says that he would definately
give this loan to Rakesh as he is Malinis brother-in-law. Rakesh
looks at Malini with thankfulness. The businessman says he has enough
respect for Malini that he doesnt even need to look over the
paperwork. Rakesh also decides to not really look over the paperwork.
Durgashanker is egging on the deal. Rakesh is signing a deal where he
gets a loan from mortgaging his whole company, Rakesh has put
400million rupees on the line (roughly 10 million dollars). Rakesh is
about to put his signature on it when Yashoda comes along and orders
Rakesh to come and talk to her for a little while. She tells him not
to sign for a loan from some guy. Rakesh says its ok as its Mr
Dastur! and besides Malinis helping him! Yashoda still argues with
Rakesh whilst everyone else listens. Rakesh tells Yashoda that shes
knows nothng about business so he will sign the deal and he does.
