the episode when yash was coming back from the garage confused as to who the guy was with arti, the room was definitely downstairs, as they showed vidhi from the bridge watching them, but the past two episodes their room has shouted upstairs, which is exactly the same replica as downstairs. during the neelam episode it was downstairs, and in one episode yash was outside in the balcony reading a paper or something...during arpita days they showed yash upstairs in the balcony outside the room when vidhi came and talked to him...

so like someone said this is tv land, they can shift rooms as and when needed...
