Acutally, the no background sound worked for me. There doesn't always need to be background music. I liked the fact that there as no background music during some of those times. Those few times where it was completely quiet, I feel there was a reason. It was dealing with Viraj and Ananya. I have to hand it to the CVs for going the quiet route.
While I agree that nothing actually happened, this episode was still very interesting and held my attention. They need to show the back and forth. They need to show what all were saying, and because it's a live show, it's totally believable that the audience would yell things out.
Though I do agree that the way they dubbed over some of the people shouting, it's like..well...😆 The serials always do that. It hardly sounds like people actually yelling and shouting within the scene.
As for the court set up, well it is kind of cheesy, but we knew from the start that's what the set up would be. And you know, it kind of works. Plus the CVs kind of poked at the court set up with the way Viraj mocked the set up.
All in all, it really wasn't a let down for me. I was watching with full attention.
