Humaira and Ayaan remind us of hum saathiya saathiya Hain and hum aapke Hain koruna because those 2 movies were derived from Muslim culture. The concept of growing up together and marrying cousins is Muslim culture. We don't consider our cousins to be our brother/sister which is why it's not incest. When I watch hum saathiya saathiya Hain I always said it reminded me of my family because it depicted Muslim culture.
