Serious an non serious Friends read it with a pinch of salt

BY the way all these PH CH and CVs who ask the fans to get a life and move on etc where will they be without them they will all have to close shop and business if people stop with reel life and get on with and into their real lives and hobbies they will also become like DOORDARSHAN so better dont stretch till it breaks the fans and viewers are like your Gods after all for whom and whose entertainment do they produce these shows

(Disclaimer I mean the normal fans and viewers who enjoy the shows and dont intend to hurt anyone these thoughts applicable to IPKKND AND NO OFFENCE MEANT TO ONE AND ALL)

I have just recently started watching this show with a discerning view after seeing why this is number 1 forum on IF and found it a good show and I am liking it and the way the whole team performed very good both on screen and off screen... and when i read these comments on get a life and move on I was thinking in these terms since I am in the media world since the last couple of decades . Took a link from chowna to watch the earlier episodes

My media mind immediately thought... At a age when all channels are thinking how to retain their viewers,EYEBALLS, shows from shutting down, from preventing them from their itch to press the remote and move on to some other channel or back to their hobbies personal interests it was refreshing for me to see that some PHs CHs dont want their viewers or fans and want them to get on with their life as In my opinion if they get a life then I THINK/forsee that CHs PHs will have to close shop and find something else to do, then why selling their shows to not only the hindi channels but dubbing them and selling to language channels.

If all fans move on and go back to their life no one watches shows what will happen to the shows and channels will they be out of business just because they can control shows and channels they cant ignore fans or viewers who give them their TRPs I just want to know that is there are some new media which makes such people redundant. Some day they will get a backlash and then where will they be.

I can always go back to my reading, meeting friends .gardening parties films travel visiting etc and stop watching TV it would be good for my health as well its not good to be sitting in front of TV so long then my LT or BB trying to give analysis, read everything posted arguing debating agreeing disagreeing finding some beautiful thoughts sentiments sharing from personal life experiences ,which probably the writers, producers, drectors did not even think of, rewatching the episodes which probably most would be doing to make the show so popular 😉😛😆

And instead of them calling the fans move on when will they move on from producing and making money from the sentimental they show and sell on TV only they are changing the actors, treatment, PHs and CHs but basic content is the same(old wine in a new bottle) if they cant move on how they expect fans to move on why they go back to the same old story lines and why dont they experiment instead of going back to the same story lines only changing to place like Gujarat Maharastra Punjabi Dilli UP Bhopal but sticking to the same basic sentimental thing. Families love youth and if a reality show is a winner one season they comeup with season 1 to ... seasons then why not fictional shows and make so many fans and viewers happy and anyway there are so many tracks which they can keep on adding if you see some of the international fiction shows which keep on going on and on and on 😆.

Very well said Chalhov , why to blame viewers when concerned people do not want to try , just goes on copying the hit track from one to another ...At least in DD days there were quality shows which had stories from literature or written by famous authors ...At least international shows with seasons have new story and are crisp ..

Very well said Chalhov :) Indeed the makers of the show need to realize one simple fact -- FANS make the show or break it! I do understand that there would be some pressure behind taking harsh decisions...but ignoring or disrespecting the fans would lead them to being nowhere! Hadn't it been for the FANS, how would the makers, actors and the channel make money? Had we, the normal people, got on with our normal lives never bothering to watch these TV serials, will the channel make money?? The makers should always understand one simple fact -- we as viewers don't get profits/ monetary gains by watching the show, we do it simply for entertainment purposes...but still if we attach ourselves to a particular show and demand something, there is nothing wrong to concede to it. Yes, I do agree that the fans should remain in limit as well, not causing any displeasure to the actors involved... however, the makers are in no way in a position to state that 'People should just realize its fiction and real...blah' Oh comeon, then how would these serials work!?

well said ..they were lucky to have these fans sticking around even when their story lacked its essence...for a normal viewer it is easy to switch on to another soap when show looses plot or interesting storyline...here viewers still hooked up in hope they will get better tracks in future...

Superb post!!! As far as I can see - closing a winner like IPK was professional suicide for the PH and channel. Cannot help but wonder the true reasons for doing this and laying the blame at one actor's doorstep. What about the PH running out of ideas and coming up with lame tracks with approval from the channel from the past 6 or more months. What were they thinking? In today's cutthroat competitive world will anyone neglect a successful product? Puzzling to say the least!
