Asad shouldn't have referred to Zoya's parents.

Asad was angry because Najma accompanied Zoya to the match...but this is no way to talk to a person. He was insulting and excessively derogatory when he referred Zoya's parents as irresponsible in giving her proper values.

He made another detogatory comment about parents not giving proper values who live outside India or to say westernized.

I as an American having an Indian origin found it personally insulting because my parents have given me good values .

I know, that was bit too personal and he talks about tehzeeb and all, where is his manner and good upbringing when he drags someone's parents in to confrontation.

That's his belief and he WILL be proven wrong ... isn't that the premise of the show? Just because he is saying something doesn't mean he is RIGHT... give it time...

exactly my point... He went all personal and crossed his limits when he mentioned her parents. It was uncalled for and is unacceptable.

if his belief is that ppl living outside are incapable of giving a good upbringing then he is a hypocrite because he himself very wrongfully insulted someone else's parent...he proved that his upbringing is wrong too.

Maybe it's the course of the story but this PH has a history of showering insults at women. Asad kept screaming at her when the poor girl was in tears.

Agreed. That was totally uncalled for. His thinking is so outdated that he is downright rude and nasty and yet he talks about tehazeeb!! What an oxymoron!!!

even asad would have realised that he was wrong in saying those words.
