Time does not always heal, but it does help to reduce the pain. What really helps to you heal is forgiveness. When someone wrongs you and it wounds you, forgive the person. It does not matter if you do not forget, but forgiving will make the memories painless. And if you are hurting because of something you have done, forgive yourself. Forgiving helps to heal the wounds for the forgiver...so forgiveness helps the giver more than the given.
Forgiving helps to reach the stage where the wound does not hurt anymore...there may be scars, but they will not bother you!
I know...easier said than done...it takes years sometimes...
