There is a famous saying that, "Time heals all wounds". Does it really? You might get used to the pain or deal with it better... but all wounds cannot be healed or do they? Some incidents leave deep scars. How can you come out of them? Even with passing time, you cannot go ahead with the same vigour. I've seen a lot of people turn to Family, friends, psychological help or mostly God in those times. Is that the best way to deal? I somehow don't see the saying resonate with many situations in our lives. Who came up with it?😆

For me, no it does not. Sure you learn to live with it and put a smile on your face, pretending you have "moved on". But I don't believe in "Time heals".. Maybe it has just been created to give you hope that everything will be better.

Wounds heal and leave you with scars so strictly speaking, even if time does heal in that paradigm also your scars will be the reminder of the anguish you've undergone. Personally, I believe we evolve and as we do, wounds from the past stop mattering so much. They're still there and ache at times but you learn to look past them.

We are designed in a way that we are constantly getting and processing new information. What it does is that it

a) diverts our attention towards new things
b) adds more total information that we have.
c) sometimes it makes those wouds heal
If some loved one dies we feel its the end of the world. However in the end we live and move on. These are wounds not healed but an example of a and b.
If you have a friend who hurts you and you feel wounded lol. However it is possible that with time you get new information and you regret about that friend or find a new better friend. This is an example of wound being healed.
My take is time helps but does not always heal.

Time heals some wounds.

But sometimes the stab wounds are too deep or too toxic. You might either bleed to death or get blood poisoning. Bullets are cleaner and heal better, and any imminent death is quick and painless. .

Moral of the story, don't let anyone too close so they can stab you. Keep everyone at a distance.

of course it heals. Maybe not completely, but passage of time helps. If you're looking for 100% healing, then you got to go down the moksha route.😆

Make that most wounds if not all.

Actually bullet wounds can be more damaging and toxic than stab wounds . Some bullets can fragment inside the tissues and cause sepsis if not extracted in time. As far as the stabbing effect that some words can have it really depends on how an individual decides to let it hurt. One can ignore the words, try to see the deeper meaning attached or allow it to fester in our mind. It is possible to exercise our choice.

Moral of the story, don't let anyone too close so they can stab you. Keep everyone at a distance.

Tch tch…. That's measuring everybody with the same yardstick and too high a price to pay! Better to develop one's discretionary capabilities 😆

If the wound is too deep, the scar from it will always be there, reminding you of what you've gone through. So basically time does not really heal. You just learn to move on and live with it.

What is the problem with scars !? Cosmetic? Scar formation is a natural part of the healing process after injury. The depth and size of the wound incision and the location of the injury impact the scar's characteristics, but your age, heredity and even sex or ethnicity will affect how your skin reacts. How we react to that process is again dependant on our attitude and the way we allow ourselves to be conditioned.
Similar scar in two different individuals can evoke a completely different reaction ranging from a sense of relief to dismay . We need to introspect the root cause of that reaction- is it the scar itself or our own attitude towards it. If it were the scar itself then the same reaction should have occured in every individual which is not the case.
If one keeps scratching the wound - no scar, no healing, no relief.
