Think about it.. young educated girl.. brought up in a progressive family.. in an urban city (i mean, at least i think udaipur is pretty urban, never having been there, what with all the tourism n all 😆)
So why would she be sooo mad about the whole divorcee thing, right?? i mean i get the villager thing, but i dont get how Sanchi is closing her eyes to the fact that anandi is as cultured as (if not better than) any city chick.. and since Sanchi seems to possess a brain 😉 n i'm trying to find some logic behind this new character from the CVs- why does she act this way?
So here goes my list of Sanchi's actual issues:
1. Sanchi thinks her brother is super amazing (i agree!) and feels no girl is upto the mark.. and doesnt want to look past the village girl thing coz she's petty.. 'no one is good enough for my brother- and find frivolous reasons to prove it!'
2. Sanchi's so pampered n blunt (read rude n mannerless) that anandi's ever present calm, sweetness n serenity bums her out (coz she's satan's spawn 😆)
3. She just wanted Ashima.. bas soch liya toh soch liya!
4. the prejudice issue is obvious, she thinks villagers suck.. dont need to explain why 'poor, cultured' Sanchi feels that way..
5. Now this is the BIGGIE: I think this is her real problem- She used to be the only female of her generation- which is why she's pampered- now everytime she meets Anandi, the shekhars give anandi more importance- and that's the problem, Sanchi wants to be the center of attention and presumably the universe, even in her brother's wedding!
Also i think she never thought that her brother would fall in love (see, Sid himself turns 32 soon n Shiv is at least 30, right, so a bit of a late bloomer by indian standards).. plus he never showed any interest before, so sanchi must be pissed that his attention got diverted faster than one could say 'sanchi my do-' *BAM* 'Anandi ji!'.. now that's all he says.. 😆
Of course, Sanchi is not justified in anyway, she is really over the top- but now i see her convoluted logic.. and i feel that she doesnt really believe in the divorcee crap herself.. But CVs need at least one idiot who 'Anandi Bhabhi' can sudharofy/slap in the future... I mean, Jagya has pretty much given up his selfish ways n our 'beloved' Gauri is out the picture.. So someone is needed in Anandi's life who is the perfect mixture of all things mean! only one villain- Heth singh- ke saath main bhi thoda pak gayi thi.. So another- rather silly n immature- 'grey' character joins in... 😛
just food for thought.. as this is a really slooow week in the show.. like seriously, how many more dances i'm i supposed to take!!! 🥱
