Question about marriage laws in India?

As far as I know Bigamy is a crime in India. But, can someone please clarify me the Muslim marriage laws...in Qubool hai it's shown that Rashid is married to both Dilshad and Shireen...isn't a divorce required to marry a second time or its allowed ?
Isn't it considered as bigamy?

Can someone please explain this ?

well in muslims a man can marry two womens at the same time without divorce only if the first wife give him the permission to get marry b'coz for men 4 marriges are allowed at same time without getting divorce.hope you get the answer to your question or you can pm me if you need to ask something else about the same topic or something else😊
