To the TM...well, a lot of hurt is still carried by many Geet fans for the mistreatment by both the powers that be in the television world and fans from other shows. Everything that can be said already has been for a long time now so I won't really get into all of that.

I'll attempt to tell you what you wanted to know. It was sort of surreal, actually. For many of us, Geet was our first Indian show and our cherished favourite. Around three-quarters into its duration, it became clear to many that something was not right. Our show was dragged through unnecessary suffering before it met its end, be it in terms of writing, neglect from The Bosses, random plot lines or characterisation.

The whole 'Geet is ending' fiasco ran pretty intensely for months. Articles printed gave contradicting information, calls, emails, letters etc to the Star Network were being replied to with differing statements - "No, it's all just rumours" or "If you continue to call in, your show will be saved" - and generally, everything was a mess. Now I personally did not participate in trying to 'save' and then 'bring back' the show by protesting to Star so I can only imagine the hurt that those who did felt. Through all of this, as you can imagine, it became extremely hard to enjoy the remaining episodes of the show (farce or not, the emotional attachment was still there).

It wasn't even clear that the show was ending until a week or two before it ended. A promo was released for an 'Aakhri Salaam' to Star One and even when that aired, it was less of a shared ending and more of our and other shows making appearances in the finale of another show.

4Lions - though they could do being more honest with and respectful to fans if they do have information regarding shows ending - continue to be a powerhouse of talent that still deserve to be commended on their shows. They have since started great shows (I am hooked on 'Arjun') and despite two of their shows ending this way, I am sure they will continue to find success.

I've had a lot to say, probably because this is the first time I've spoken about this, but the fact that this wasn't even the half of it speaks for itself.

Life goes on, with or without your favourite show, sometimes your forum (such as the Geet one) will continue to live on and sometimes it won't. There's no point playing the blame game and all the rest once the show is over. It's a draining experience and more painful in the long run. At the end of the day, we will never know what really went down in the room of decisions so it's best to let it go.

Our show had brilliant and loyal leads they never ditched our show for movies or personal reasons,they are humble and selfless,they respect their fans and wants to please them..

The ph ruined our show cuz they got the opportunity to make a copycat version on a big channel like StarPlus..I feel so bad for the cast cuz they always gave their 100% and was there till the last day trying their best to do justice to their characters... but why would the ph care a damn about a show that aired on starOne when they where busy doing a replica on a bigger platform and where automatically handed a bigger audience...

the ph made a joke of the whole show but they didn't forget to use all the scenes and apply them in your show not to mention shift the best crew members from our show to your show ..we saw your leads doing the exact same thing, the scenes, the dialogues and they where getting all the credit for it..they never did anything new but their show aired on starplus and that's the advantage they had..

We saw all this happen, you guys will never understand what we went through and I will never feel sorry for you..hell, your show already got to much credit and recognition which it didn't deserve..

I'm so proud of Gurmeet and Drashti, they stayed to the last day- they had bigger reasons to leave the show but they didn't cuz they actually care about their fans..
