why three judges??

folks i know its a silly question....but have you observed that 99% of time there are 3 judges for a dance shows/ musical shows/reality shows...

for instance,

Indian Idol... nach baliye.....dance dance....jhalak dikhalaja.....fame gurukul....business baazigar.....Sa re ga ma pa lill' champs.....EMET (including a celebrity judge most of the time) ......the great laughter comedy show (including a celebrity judge)....and may be others..😕

But another reason could also be the tie factor, a third person will be useful to make a majority in case of disagreement in vote.

Another reason could be that three judges fit the frame better than 2 Judges or 5 judges😉

Another reason could be Chemistry 😉 sometimes chemistry between two is offset by the third, leading to interesting developments and moments, which in turn are good for TRPs😆
