'Don' is not an 'A' film!

There was rumour that Farhan Akhtar's 'Don' will be issued an 'A' certificate because of its alleged smoking scene. Union Health Minister Abumani Ramdoss had insisted on issuing an 'A' certificate to the film until the scene got cut.
However as per latest, the Censor board has passed the film as a U/A film without any cuts. "U/A certificate issued to the film, because of the violence portrayed in it," explained Vinayak Azad, regional officer of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
When asked about the alleged smoking scene, which irked the Health minister, Azad said, "There is no smoking scene in the film, there is only one scene where there is a smoke ring around Shah Rukh Khan's face, but the character doesn't have a cigarette in his hand."
Besides Shah Rukh, 'Don' stars Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in the leads, slated to release on October 20.
