Exclusive: Vijay's next with AGS Entertainment

In an exclusive update, we have come to know that Vijay would be doing a movie for AGS Entertainment in the near future. The rest of the cast and crew, including the director and other details are still being worked out.

This will be the first time that Vijay and AGS are joining hands. AGS recently delivered KV Anand's Maattrraan with Suriya in the lead. Since 2006, the three brothers who established AGS have produced successful films like Thiruttu Payale, Santosh Subramaniam and Madrasapattinam.

This Vijay project has already become among the most expected movies. More details are awaited in this regard.

Will Vijay choose the Pokkiri director's 'Cameraman'?

In 2007, Vijay's Pokkiri released and it was given a rousing reception from the masses. Vijay's career got a major fillip thanks to this movie and his reach widened. This was a remake of Puri Jagannadh's Telugu movie also titled Pokkiri.

Now Puri's upcoming movie with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, 'Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu' is releasing this Thursday. The expectations are huge from this movie as well, which has Tamannah opposite Pawan.

Vijay is also keenly watching the prospects of this movie and if it works out well at the box-office, he has plans to buy the remake rights and do the Tamil remake of 'Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu'. It is natural given the huge success of his earlier Puri Jagannadh remake. Watch this space for more on this

Vijay's right-hand man !

Rajeev Pillai is a Kerala born model turned actor who's made appearances in a few Malayalam and Hindi projects so far. He will be introduced to the Tamil audience through the yet to be titled Vijay-A.L. Vijay project.

The actor, who confirmed his participation in the movie, said that his role would be that of a right-hand man to Vijay. He was thrilled to be a part of the project and thanked the film's heroine Amala Paul for referring him to the director for the role. It is believed that he and Amala Paul share a friendship right from their modeling days. The crew are currently shooting in Mumbai as part of their first schedule.

The music will be by G.V. Prakash and the soundtrack will reportedly feature Vijay crooning the 25th song of his career.
