yesterday this scene of madhu taking food from dustbin disturbed me. i tried to see it objectively as a scene from soap. if it had been anything other than eatable we wdn't feel this offended. imagine, madhu recovers her earrings from dustbin, wdn't have d same effect as taking food items (thank god they showed it in cover) from garbage can.

i think cvs want to show for madhu maintaining KC for her husband hs become so imp that she's willing to go any lengths. it is not as if she wants to prove it to her MIL or deepali. in fact she hides it from everyone except bittuji. (as she needs help she told him otherwise she wdn't have) so this KC is not to show anyone or win a challenge to anyone.

Madhu has realized she's in love with RK and she wants to show her love (for herself) thro this KC fasting. so when obstacles (radhaji, deepali, even RK) come she ignores and tries to go around them. Eating food taken from dustbin, is not a big deal in that context. it is so like a old films where heroines n heroes do lot of silly things to prove that they r in love. one i vaguely remember was 'ek duje ke liye'. heroines' family wd burn d hero's photo and d girl will mix the ash n her coffee or something like that. (i hope i got d movie n scene right!)

here madhu is not doing such silly things but still going too much for the sake of her love.

madhubala as a serial has shown more of 70s n 80s style of story telling (if u recall ballu), so i think cvs are showing such scenes (which is anathema today)!

many were like 'how could they show such things'. this post is my attempt to to make some sense of that scene.

no intention of upsetting anyone. if anyone can add on or contradict, you are welcome.

I completly agree with you priya 😊. There is nothing wrong with the scene. In fact i would have liked she taking a bite of sweets and rushing to Rk when he called her.😆
