Neha Devi Singh aka Bhumika had a wardrobe malfunction on the sets of Saarthi, the zip of her kurta came undone

Neha Devi Singh aka Bhumika of Saarthi was the most recent victim of wardrobe malfunction on the sets of the soap recently.
The Saarthi unit was shooting a sequence where Neha is hit, first by a motorcycle and then by an oncoming car. Her character in the soap, a pregnant woman, is supposed to lose her baby as a result of this accident.
However, soon after being hit by the bike, the zip on the back of her kurta came undone and the kurta hung open, putting her in a fix. "The mishap happened because I lost my balance. I had been apprehensive about the entire accident sequence, although I have done quite a few of them in the past" says the 20-something actress. "But thankfully, the next scene was of Karan Grover (Arjun in the serial) driving me away in a car, so that saved me the blushes for that moment. I got into the car with great relief."
However, her woes did not end there. The director did not find the scene up to the mark and told her that a re-shoot was required. But Neha did not have any spare costumes. Saarthi being a daily soap, the unit had no time to wait for another sets of clothes.
"We asked a designer to get a set of clothes ready, but that took too much time. Finally, we ended up stitching the back of the salwar, making it really uncomfortable for me to do the scene. I could barely move in it and so lost my balance again and fell on my knees, getting severely injured this time" says Neha.
The result was that she could not walk properly for at least three days and it took almost a week for her to recover completely.
Now, however, the actress is learning to be particular about her clothes. "I have been making sure that I have a spare costume and designer present on the sets. I don't want to face such humiliation again," she says.
