Pratyusha was looking beautiful today. A nice episode with a very unique mehendi ceremony. Usually every one tries their best to see that the bride is happy but her it was the other way around where the bride herself tried her best to see that the others are happy. A truly sees her happiness in the happiness of others and this is what makes her so special.

It was good to see the village as well as DS break age old customs and beliefs by seeing the bigger picture. they have truly progressed as a society.

Sachi who is a self proclaimed symbol of modernism can take some tips on liberating herself from her huge misconception. She was looking very pretty in the Indian clothes today.

Liked the Gehena Basant scene too. Basant seemed more shy than Gehena 😆.

Tomorrow we will see DS also wearing mehendi.

I was genuinely moved to tears by today's episode, it's been so long since they've used their social message mantle so powerfully. This was actually a great message to put across, and they did it so beautifully - I teared up when the widowed girls started tearing up. Anandi really is an angel. Oh and I loved her fishtail braid - very pretty, she looked like she'd stepped out of mythology :)

Sachi s character is very confused .she is look just modern but reallty is 16 century person. She is very narrow mind.

After todays episode I'm convinced Sachi is a miserable person all round, nothing makes her happy shes bound to pick fault in everything so basically Shiv and Anandi shouldn't take it personally sachi just hates everything. Weird thing is Ira and rest of family don't know what makes Sachi tick. Also what on earth will Sanchi wear on her wedding day when it comes round considering she hates traditional wear and hates mehendi.

Every thing looks wonderful, except one, which i am wondering why the person is missing...And that is the eldest person in the family Basant's father...no invitation for him...? And further the main leads best friends are forgotten as well...!Khajan singh appears very rarely and is always shown disappearing whenever Anandi really needs him... 😕 Like when Shiv was in jail and so on...! It is really surprising that the cvs are forgetting some important characters on such a big occassion...! When Ashima can come all the way to India for her friends wedding, cant she be just shown wishing Shiv once atleast...! And phooli wonder what happened to her...Isn't Gulli staying with them...Then why no one is not even talking about her...? Ananadi considers herself phooli's sons massi...So did massi so easily forgot all about him...?

At haveli all the ladies have gathered for mehendi function, some are dancing and music is being played. Bhavri bhojai has also joined. All Singh females (minus Anandi) are sitting and watching and enjoying. Gulli enters and announces that Shekhar's have sent Mehendi. Gulli and Asha then escort Anandi downstairs, who is looking very pretty in an Orange & Green Ghaghra-choli.

All eyes are very happy to see her. She seeks blessings from Ds and Sumi. Ds comments, that the Mehendi from Shekhar's may not be as good as that of Singhs but it has lot of love from her would-be and her MIL. A shys away.

A lady starts to put mehendi on Anandi, but she requests her to wait for sometime. She wants to wait for the widow/divorcee girls. Ds explains to A that it is meaningless to wait for those girls as their parents won't have enough courage to send their daughters. Anandi argues saying that she is confident that these girls will attend, after all they are being deprived of happiness, for no fault of theirs. After a bit of to & fro arguments, A reveals that she has sworn that she will not put mehendi, until all those girls get a chance. Sumi also tries to explain, but A is firm about her decision.

Just then Suman's mother bring Suman to put Mehendi. She says she has dared enough to take a big step, but has done it for A's sake. All other girls follow, and A is very happy. All girls happily start putting Mehendi on each other.

At CH also, it is a very pretty atmosphere. Saanchi puts Shagun ki mehendi to Shiv but with a puffed face. She is about to walk away when Ira asks her to put mehendi for herslef. Saanchi replies irritatedly that she can't be forced for everything. Already she is wearing indian dress and that should be enough. Mahi lightens the atmosphere and all others convince Saanch to get Mehendi done. She agrees.

At haveli finally A it is A'sturn to put Mehendi. She starts with feet first. Suddenly Gehna feels thirsty and is looking for someone who could give her water, because she has mehendi on her hands. Bhawri takes this opportunity to tease Basant in front of all ladies,Basant makes Gehna drink water and all ladies laugh.

Anandi asks DS to put mehendi on her hands. All shocked, Ds protests that being a widow, she cant do it. It will be unfateful. A convinces her that it will be a blessing for her, after all A has got this second chance & happiness in life only because or DS. All look convinced.

Voice over: In our society, always women have been victim of social & cultural norm, which take away their happiness. A social worker will always aim at putting an end to such tortutorous customs.

Pre-cap: Ds is convinced, and is happily putting Mehendi on A's hands. A says, all widows of their village have got mehendi on, except for one.
