I don't buy that. Karisma and Abhishek dated for years and announced the engagement too. If the Bachchans really wanted to send a detective after her, they would have done it long before they made public announcements about the marriage.

Well it all makes sense now. Money is the issue in this case. They probably don't want to go through the messy divorce like Aditya-Payal are going through but unlike Aditya-Payal, there's kids involved here.

I don't buy that the Bachchan's broke the marriage because of high class escort stuff either seeing all this...because if Karisma is willing to maintain an open relationship of sorts with a guy she obviously doesn't care about just so she can still have access to his bank account, then it's easy to believe that money was the reason for the breakup with Abhi. Babita and her wanted a prenup right...at that time Karisma was bigger than Abhishek, & the Bachchans were going through a very rough time financially speaking also...I also remember reading somewhere they wanted AB Sr to promise he would leave majority, if not all, of his money to Abhishek in his will...

These 2 were always wrong for each other. I feel for thekids involved in this mess.
