I was a reader till now of If... but now has decided to write my first FF... it is dedicated to Appy_Indy who told me to post it on my name...

The first few parts of this is influenced by the book I TOO HAD A LOVE STORY by Ravinder Singh...

So here it goes... enjoy

BIN TERE KYA HAI JEENA

Prologue

Arnav was sitting in their living room of Raizada Mansion with his Di and Nani. They were talking about some random topic when as always the topic got changed smoothly which screwed Arnav badly. He wondered how every topic started on something totally opposite to the topic at the end of discussion. He retired from the room making his famous excuse of an video conference with an client. Anjali pouted feeling disappointed yet again for not able to convince her Chotey whereas Nani consoled her beloved granddaughter.

Arnav was pacing the room to and fro thinking any way to keep his family away from his match-making business. He was so engrossed in his thought he din't even notice Aakash entering his room. He patted his shoulder to gain his attention, "Bhai, whats the matter? you look worried." "Um, n-nothing, just was thinking about Singhania deal." Arnav replied absent mindly. "Okay, just came to remind you about tomorrows meeting and just check the email the client has send." Aakash reminded him and left the room.

Arnav sat on the chair and checked the email. While checking his vision was attracted by the photos in the Ads column. He was too keen to visit the site. It was an random matrimonial site. He checked it feeling too excited as well amused as to how people opt this way for marriage.

At that moment his eyes fell on a photo. Her face nothing less than that of a angel, her complexion as fair as snow with minimal make up. Almond shaped eyes with light brown orbs. They sparkle as lively even in the picture. He had an sudden urge to know more about this angel. He clicked the picture but to his luck it stated that the limit of free viewing is over and had to sign-up to view further.

The need to know more about her was so much that to his surprise he decided to create an account. It was again an surprise for himself as he was checking for his best picture to upload on his account as profile picture. He decided the photo which was clicked during Nani's 75th birthday. He wore black 'band gala' suit and was looking dashing and handsome according to his Di. He filled the necessary information asked and signed-in.

Phew... liked it... please like and do comment to let me know should i continue or not...

The Beginning

Arnav signed in and took an look at the girl's profile who caught his attention.

Name: Khushi Gupta.

Age: 25

City: Mumbai

Education: Hons in Architect

Occupation: Interior Designer

E-mail: khushig@gmail.com

He took down the id and decided to drop an e-mail

He typed and tried to send but ended up saving it in draft. Annoyed with himself he checked the draft box n saw 15 drafts which annoyed him further.

The great Arnav Singh Raizada is afraid of sending an e-mail to an girl, the thought challenged his ego.

He drop an msg stating

" Hi this is Arnav Singh Raizada, saw your profile u can have a look at my profile and reply if you like."

He never felt that nervous even during presenting his idea of AR in front of the investor.

With that he shut his lappie n went to bed waiting for the sleep to embrace him.

Next morning was unusually pleasant for him as if something good was gonna happen. With a smile on his face he woke up and got ready to go to office.

Khushi's Place

Khushi got up with an smile on her face she wished herself good morning said hi to her Devi Maiyaa went to her younger sister's (Payal) room to wake her up and got ready.

She wore an Grey and black color anarkali dress and headed down to meet her parents downstairs wished them both had her breakfast and left for her office

Gupta runs a small firm named 'Dream Creation.' She looked after it her father Sashi Gupta was the MD. And she was the main designer. Payal worked as an intern under her. She entered her cabin ordered her coffee and started her work.

She checked her emails as her friend was sending her some new designs. But she noticed she has received an email from an unknown id. Opening the email she got utterly confused. As she couldn't make out which was been referred there. So she replied asking the same.

Meanwhile in AR, Arnav was staring at his a/c as an desperate teenager for an reply from Khushi.

And God granted his wish, he got an email stating that

'Hi, i received your email but couldn't understand which profile are you referring to...????

Khushi Gupta'

He mentally slapped himself for his stupidity of not mentioning the name of the website.

He replied her now rectifying his mistaking and adding his personal number in it.

And again he waited...

Khushi's lappie blinked informing of an new email. Unknowingly a smile made a way on her face as if she could feel Arnav cursing himself for his stupidity. She was surprised as he was referring to the matrimonial site she has signed in because of Payal.

She opened the site with her heartbeat at an record rate, she typed her name. The page got open giving info

Age: 29

Education: Hons in Fashion Designing

Occupation: Fashion Designer

She knew ASR, who didn't know him? And hence thought he was referring to work with her firm. She never in her wildest dream thought that the great Arnav Singh Raizada will say to check his profile on an matrimonial site and asking for an reply if she likes. 'Who on earth will deny you ASR..?' she thought

Happy and excited she decided to cal but hesitated to directly cal him and ended up sending up an e-mail she wrote'

'I'm glad that you had an look at my profile and would like to know more about you'

Reading her reply Arnav punched in the air to celebrate his victory and an moment later was embarrased to do so in front of his clients during his important meeting and made an stupid excuse of arm ache. But was unable to hide the grin off his face. To his luck he cracked the deal.

Hour later he replied writing 'Thank u for checking it out on my request. If u dun mind can we exchange our number to be in direct contact. You already have my number just gimme a cal.'

And yet again waited for her reply'..

Hours passed but she didn't reply. He misinterpreted that she didn't like the idea of whole number thing.

But the reason was she had been stuck in an meeting and didn't even saw the email''

here you go for 2nd chapter

The Talk

Recap: Arnav requested Khushi for exchanging the digits but was disappointed for not getting an reply...

Khushi had an extra-ordinarily busy day. Work load was so much that she had to take pending work at home for first time. And obviously because of that she forgot to check the email and replying to it was far impossible thing.

But Arnav regretted for being such an despo but couldn't help to check his inbox after every five minutes. Finally decided to let it go and headed for dinner. But at dinning table every Raizada was hell shock to see their Chotey being this absentminded that he pour water in his curry bowl. And they had an great laugh at his expense for his various antics. Frustrated by this he left the dinning table and head to his peace shelter that is his personal garden.

Khushi's Place

Khushi was too tired for having her dinner but had to because the pending work had to be done as next day was very important day for her. After having dinner she sat with her family to get her mind relax before again starting to work.

As always Payal brought her topic as Khushi jiji and dad completed their business talk.

"Jiji have you went through your matrimonial account to see whether anyone has approached you"

That's it... Khushi without answering the question and neglecting mom's warning of being careful she fled to her room searching for her laptop.

There she go had an email from Arnav about six hours ago unread and unanswered. She mentally cursed herself for being this careless. Email stated for exchanging the digits. She was on cloud nine, the great Arnav SIngh Raizada was asking for her number. She spare an look towards the clock and saw it was 10.30 pm. Replying at this time would send a wrong impression, she thought to herself. But if not now she won't be able to contact him till tomorrow night which was not acceptable.

She picked her phone not down his number from previous email and pressed the cal button with shaking hands. After 1st ring she disconnected the call and prayed that he won't pick up the call. After 5 minutes again she collected courage and ringed him but again disconnected it.

Arnav was working on his note book at first time the ring was such short one that he didn't notice, second time he was about to get up but the call got disconnected so he continued his work. Again his cell rang but got disconnected. Same thing happened four times. And every time he was about to get up but didn't.

At fifth time cell ranged and got disconnected in same pattern. 'What the... is this the time to disturb people by such stupid thing' he murmured angrily. And decided to keep the cell in his hand and answer it at first ring. After about 10 minutes his cell rang and before it could get disconnect he answered and barked What the hell are you upto is this the time to disturb people and enjoy on their expense just mind... and before he could say anything further the call got disconnected.

Khushi got all the more nervous by her fifth call but collecting her courage she dialed his number and before the first ring got completed a thunderous voice from other end made her disconnect the call. Was that he...??? Even in anger his voice was so husky and manly, she thought shivering.

Arnav felt that it was his angel on the other end and he regretted his outburst. He watched the time and it was 10.55 pm. He wondered again if she could call at this hour but didn't want to take chance he opened his call log and dialed the first received number. It rang and he waited with holding his breath.

Khushi got nervous seeing his number flashing on the screen she was in turmoil whether to answer or not. But she answered.

Arnav heard the most melodious hello ever...

Arnav: Hello

Khushi: Hi

Arnav: Is this Khushi...????

Khushi: (surprised) yeah... Mr. Raizada...???

Arnav: Yes it is... (he didn't like her addressing him Mr. Raizada... duh-huh i'm drooling over her and she is calling me Mr. Raizada as if i'm 50 year old..)

silence...

Khushi decided to break the silence...

Khushi: Um... Mr. Raizada i'm really sorry to keep you waiting for my reply but the day was really hectic and couldn't get time to reply.

Arnav: Oh..!! that's fine.

Khushi: And sorry once again...

Arnav: For...???

Khushi: For calling you at this hour and disturbing by so many miscall.

Arnav: Um... not a problem was not busy so you dint disturbed me.

Silence...

This time Arnav decided to break it.

Arnav: Had dinner...???

Khushi: (Again surprised) yea... what about you...???

Arnav: Yup... done with that...

Silence...

None of them know what to say more...

Khushi: So how was the day...??? (stupid idiot as if he is going to give you detail about his routine)

Arnav: (was drooling your photo and waiting for your reply) was good...

Khushi: Oh great (stupid), um... i think its quite late...

Arnav: (Oh no... please don't hang up) hmm...

Khushi: So Mr. Raizada this is my number do save it... (hope he does that)

Arnav: Um...Khushi...???

Khushi: Yes...

Arnav: Please call me by my name i.e. Arnav... (please please)

Khushi: (Phew finally he said that...) pause... oh okay...

Arnav: I think it getting late... we should talk tomorrow if you dun mind and if not busy...???

Khushi: oh yea sure... (why won't i call you back...??)

Arnav: Okay then... thanks for calling and nice talking to you... (nice... bull**** it was awesome)

Khushi: Same here...( only nice i thought it was awesome) bye...

Arnav: Bye

Khushi: Goodnight

Arnav: Goodnight

And she hung up the call...

Both let out the breath which was unknowingly held during the convo...

"Oh he has such an sexy voice..." think that she went into deep slumber..

She actually sounded like an angel... Arnav couldn't help but keep on repeating the convo in mind and simled like an lovesick puppy... Excuse me... what did you just said... lovesick...???
Oh com'n it is not love may be attraction... but lesser did he know what was that going to be...

That was indeed an goodnight for both of them... Hoping to talk to each other next day... both slept waiting eagerly for tomorrow...
