Asin convinced her way into Balma

We've heard of rival actresses trying to up one another, but this is just something else.

Everyone loves the song Balma from Khiladi 786 and its quite a foot tapping number. Reportedly, initially Asin was supposed to be a mere spectator in the song. According to the original idea, Khiladi Kumar Akshay and hottie Claudia Ciesla were supposed to dance together in the song, with Asin watching and getting jealous. But as soon as Asin heard the song during rehearsal, she absolutely insisted on dancing on it too. And managed to convince the filmmakers to make her dance as a part of it.

Additionally, since Balma was the first track from the album to go on air, Asin insisted that it became even more important for her.

A source confirmed the story to TOI. "Eventually, the film's makers gave in to their heroine's demand so Asin's dance was incorporated as part of Akshay's daydreaming about her while dancing with Claudia."

Was this Asin's pure love for the song, or a subtle rivalry, who knows.
