Salman Khan to Sarabjit's sister: Don't comment on Kasab
New Delhi: Salman Khan seems to be making genuine efforts in getting Sarabjit released from Pakistan's Kot Lakhpat Jail. He has asked Sarabjit's Sister Dalbir Kaur to keep a distance from the media and be mindful of her words. According to Sarabjit's sister, she received a call from Salman Khan, asking her to maintain silence on this issue.
After Kasab's executions, there have been reports in the media that Pakistan could retaliate and mete out the same treatment to Sarabjit. Recent developments do not auger well for Sarabjit's family members who are really worried for him. However, normally outspoken Dalbir is tight-lipped on the turn of events. But, now that she is paying heed to salman's suggestion explains the mystery behind her silence. Apparently, Salman does not want war of words to vitiate the atmosphere and hurt his efforts for Sarabjit's release.
Interestingly, just before the release of 'Ek Tha Tiger', Salman khan had started online campaign for Sarabjit's release which got good response, but many termed it as a marketing gimmick for the promotion of his film. But, now that he is silently pulling the strings suggests he is serious and playing it very diplomatically.
