Payal, she belongs to the older generation that believes a child can save a marriage. But when one spouse does not love the other, how can they bring a child into the world?
Also, they are rewriting the past. Seems like no one remembers that Reva was believed to be dead for a year. Why doesn't MT ask her where she was and what she did all that time? Really strange isn't it?

i am surprised in today's world women still think that one cast is better the other. that a bedni should live like a bedni. and has no right to raise her status in society.

sure sugni had dreams to marry and not be a bedni. she wanted a groom to come from the city. i dont think she ever thought that her life would get entwined with the thakur family in that very village. everyone called sugni selfish and that she only wanted to be thakurain these dreams were fed to her by vikram. when she wanted to leave the village along with her mother. vikram did not let her go. he was the one obsessed with having sugni. the way i see it is that sugni is not the cause of destruction it is vikram and his obsession.

so what if she is from the bedni community. dont forget that Aditya is in love with her. she didnt not ask him to love her or encouraged him. yes she married him because vikram questioned her character and said one man is not enough for her. marriage to Aditya means she belongs only to him as his wife. for an Indian woman the husband always takes precedence over the man she may love. even after the marriage sugni was ready to leave with her mother if Aditya would not accept her as his wife, but Aditya being in love with her accepts her because he wanted to. not because he was forced like the first time when he put sundur in sugni mang in the temple.

maa thakur us prejudice towards sugni because she is of the bedni community, she never had a problem when she did not know this fact. she did not hate sugni then and thought she would be an ideal bahu. if maa thakur could just put aside the fact that sugni is a bedni, and that vikram wanted to marry her without informing her. then sugni would be the same person that she approved of for aditya.

a person will change his attitude because of his or her own prejudice. but a person does not change because of someone else prejudice they inherently remain the same.

maa thakur has changed her attitude towards sugni because of her own prejudice but Sugni is the same but stronger. the same girl that vikram fell in love with, the same girl that Vikram betrayed, the same that Aditya fell in love with and the same even after marriage to Aditya. The husband becomes the most important man in her life. So if Sugni stands by and supports Aditya she does so because she is his wife. her values have not changed. she wanted vikram to stand by his wife. to give his marriage a chance, Though Reva does not deserve it is another matter. But sugni has not changed.

that is evident that even thought she is now a thakurine she still cares for her family, though she has nothing to give them she shows respect to her selfish mamas, and ask for their blessing, she is worried when maa thakur invites them in the havali knowing they are going to be insulted because of her. so has Sugni changed?

the only change i see is in Vikram, his love has turned to hate both for Sugni and Aditya. and the change is in maa thakur, thought she is a wise woman she is regressive in thought because of her prejudice.

No one had a problem with sugni when vikram wanted to marry her. if vikram had let sugni go this would not have come to pass.

I agree that she was good in taking all of these people to task.

I still believe she needs to have a conversation with Adi about the course he has taken to do what he thinks is right! !!!!!

BUT I AM APPALLED/ANGEY at her advice to Reva - USE A CHILD AS A WAPON TO PRESERVE A MARRIAGE?

She is intellgent enough to figure out that TVS is behind Adi's problems but she does not recognise Reva's nature or the fact that her son who is precious to her has been unhappy in his marriage for a long time?

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE WRITERS?

To suggest a woman has a child to preserve/save a marriage or to stop her husband leaving her is truly disgusting. Why should an innocent child suffer - children suffer when their parents do not get on.
[
/QUOTE] your right maa thakur is wise but not progressive in thought. older members of a family often think that having a child is the solution to an unhappy marriage. they generaly dont believe in divoce, its either have a child or take another wife while still keeping the first in some back room of their havalis. but who is going to educate older people who hold traditions higher value than an individuals happiness.

I agree that that MT is expressing views of an older generation but this programme is not balanced so there is not going to be someone saying that, that is not the answer.
The way this programme is heading Reva will probably do it and what message does that send - that its perfectly OK to use a child as a wapon !!!!!!
So this poor child will have a father (thanks to the CVs rewrite of the character) who was easy going principled man but has now lost perspective and is on a self destructive path and a mother who has no consicious (anyone who can watch man they have spent 10 years with being stabbed on their say so without slightest remorse/guilt/pain can not have a concious IMO).

My My what has the beautiful PSH become. I am appalled. We have switched over to Sony since Zee has been showing illogical to the extent that consistency just does not exist. Have been on the forum after a long while and am stunned to see the mess teh CVs have created.
Merrydock my dear friend you seem to have watched the show from the begining but interpreted it the wrong way.
when she wanted to leave the village along with her mother. vikram did not let her go. he was the one obsessed with having sugni.
Vikram was a WIDOWER then and in love with Sugni but if you go back to the video he asked her not to leave the village but did not force her then.
yes she married him because vikram questioned her character and said one man is not enough for her. marriage to Aditya means she belongs only to him as his wife. for an Indian woman the husband always takes precedence over the man she may love.
This is the first time i have heard that if someone questions your character you marry his nephew😲. This was the best chance for her in front of everyone to say ok if you think i am bad then i leave the village and go fend for myself and with her head held high walk out. As far as marriage to Aditya is concerned she had promised Vikram at the temple that she considers him her husband over a fortnight she promises in front of Vikram she considers herself Aditya's wife. Now exactly whose wife is she. She seems to be changing every fortnight. She runs through the wilderness searching for Vikram and now when she found him she goes back to Aditya. Vikram left her so that she could live her life right then why go searching for him and bring him back and then again become Aditya's. She should have lived her life and married Aditya and Maa Thakur would never have known the truth.
Maa Thakur is prejudiced because she has witnessed her daughter's life being ruined by a Bedni. She is intelligent enough to understand that Sugni has intentionally or unintenionally caused ill feelings between Mama & Bhanja. Sugni was warned by her mother the if she stays she will cause bloodshed in the family but she did not heed her mother. Her mother had warned her when the wedding was off that they leave the village but she did not heed her advice. After the split Vikram moved away from her but she brought him back into her life by announcing her Sar Dhakai.
You can say anything to try justify the CVs actions but what was witnessed by us in the begining episodes was what PSH was not this inconsistency.

TVS's character is getting from bad to worse and i am so ready to see him eliminated from the storyline. They badly need to find him an alternate to Sugni or gi ve him amnesia so he wakes up normal like he used to be. He is beginning to irritate me real bad.

Anyone who watches this programme regardless which character they like would agree with you. They should either write TVS out or show him broken hearted but carrying on and move on to new storyline.

But the writers think we want to see this character just trying to make Adini's life difficult - its suppose to entertain us!!!! 😡

Good for you, I am sure you'll be even more thrilled if Riva gets her repeat psycho ideas and she really kills him off this time, especially if he continues to obsess over Sugni instead of help Riva in her baby making process
