She said it on people's choice award, that a heroine's career is incomplete without working with yash chopra, who agrees with her?

while i do believe at the end of the day your work speaks for you rather than banners or production houses but we cannot deny that being directed by Yash Ji is a huge honor and a big step up in any one's career! its like you enter in a more respected league of actresses after that and definitely a step up! (does not mean you become a better actress necessarily)

Perhaps she's right. Yash Chopra was an icon and I guess it's a huge deal for any actor/actress to work with him. I think it's like winning a Grammy. Every singer's dream is to win one

i think being a yash chopra herione is quite the ultimate...we have a lot of good filmmakers in the country but he was the baap of romance!!

No-one can present a heroine better than Yash Chopra. Like Anushka said, even if you stand in the background you'd still get noticed because of the way Yashji presented a heroine. Heck he made me like Katrina :P

awee! i have yet to see the awards but i am sure it must have been one hell of an emotional moment! sri devi, madhuri, rekha, karisma, preity, rani, katrina, anuskha and others - they all might have achieved more or less but will always be proud to have been a yash raj heroine! its a huge honor to be directed by this legend!
