Dr Onir to enter Pavitra rishta

Shakti Arora who was part of Tere Liye is back to Balaji Telefilms with their long running show on Zee TV, Pavitra Rishta.

He will essay the role of Onir Dutt, a world renowned doctor who always succeeds in curing complicated cases. As our readers would know, the shoot at Kolkata is on for the seven months leap in the show. And Shakti begins his shoot in Kolkata from today, is what we hear.

As per the track post the leap, Onir who enters as the parallel lead will be married to Purvi (Asha Negi). And Arjun (Rithvik Dhanjani) and Ovi (Shruti Kanwar) who are married are on their way to becoming parents. But Ovi's complicated pregnancy makes matters worse, and this is where Arjun approaches Dr. Onir to treat Ovi's health condition.

When contacted, Shakti Arora confirmed the news saying, "Yes, I am entering Pavitra Rishta post the seven months leap. I have started shoot in Kolkata from today."

Pavitra Rishta will take the seven months leap on 3 December (2012).
