However, I just wanted to mention how I felt - One rarely becomes one with the medium - this movie did do that to me. It posed many existential questions on one level and was a cinematographic delight at an other level. 3D was used to depict the use of space - which was really essential to the story.
This movie moves beyond even Crouching Tiger - Hidden Dragon. It works on so many levels - do see it.
Came back to add - there were so many wondrous scenes in the movie - but the slow sinking of the ship was particularly poignant and visually stunning.
