i think the bridge we saw in SBB/SBS is an eternal part of their love story... they first met on that bridge when madhu encountered RK and the hate started, then RK saved madhu on the bridge and thing scalmed between them and now madhu in love and their first love song on the bridge too...

the bridge is connecting their feelings

Very true and excellent observation. Their life story began when he first saw Madhubala, about whom he had heard a lot on the bridge. The bridge like you said has been an eternal part of their love story and what a love story it is shaping to be. Won't it be awesome if his lead lady gets temporarily indisposed and Madhubala has to take her place.
