Yes, you're bang on and its so disheartening to see. Most of them im sure a bright kids at school. We need people to advocate for change at a younger age. Instead they are sold sex and idols to fanatsize over.

Ignorance is bliss I guess but it still bothers me.

As I mentioned in the PM I sent you, there is the harsh reality out there, a reality more harsh than Bhaiyyas Quitting or Creatives Conspiring.

Today there were 2 blasts in my area. From Thursday to Sunday, there is a possibility for more of Talibaan bombing. As you mentioned about Palestine- it's heart wrenching, really. It's not war, it's murder. I saw a picture of a little baby trying to play with his sister, not knowing that she isn't just sleeping, she is dead.

You could hardly blame me for giving a damn about retaining Barun Sobti.

I might be coming to this Forum everyday, but it's just because of you guys. It feels good to interact with sensible, mature people. It feels good to not think of reality for a while.

But what about these ardent, determined, fiery Phankis? How many of them are part of Social Welfare groups? How many of them volunteer to teach underprivileged children? How many of them would stand up for the rights of the innocent residents of Palestine?

Exactly.

And to hell with saying teenage is the time of dreams and drooling. I can speak for myself, it's not true. I might be really young, but every vacation, I teach poor children at a summer camp and volunteer at a hospital that serves orphans. We students hold charity events and flood drives.

I'm not boasting, just defending teenage here. I'm not saying we shouldn't stand up for ourselves as an audience who has been loyal- but our behaviour is just beyond ridiculous when this issue is far from important when we look around; those hundreds of bucks being wasted for making useless calls, rallying protests, stooping low just to get your own way- it's far from important.

And if people care more about their entertainment than humanity, then I have no further comments for them.

there are more important tangible events happening in life and nothing like working in any shelter to make you realize your priorities

my dads job was such that i was priveleged to live in so many countries many of them on the cusp of a revolution have seen enought to make me realize life is cruel and harsh

That was so outrageous. It took every ounce of Gopi Bahu Patience in me to not blast off.

I mean, there are hundreds of articles I read every week in which Sanaya is being degraded. I respect her a lot as an actress, but honestly, I won't stand up protesting, rallying, screaming, barking every day because 1 actress in this whole wide world has been disrespected. I could use my energies elsewhere, thank you very much.

But I doubt the Sobti Phangurls ever see it that way. Well, their whole world revolves around the 'reel' Sobti. No wonder they can't see the real world outside.

I doubt some people understand the essence of life and the things that matter. At the end of the day I know IPKKND is just fiction and nowhere close to reality. Some people fail to realize that. Equality, diversity, and equal opportunities is still a major problem but yet still we pretend the problem does not exist. I remember a while ago I did a research project in regards to Diversity Management which focused on affirmative action/positive discrimination within London Metropolitan Police. You can only imagine the things I discovered, such things that made my blood crawl and also caused the hair on the back of my neck to stand stiff. We live in society and we are told everyone receives equal treatment. We are also told we have rights the law is there to protect us. What if that law or legal system was once labelled an Institutional Racist will you still trust that system to protect you? Will you feel safe working within that system, you being part of the minority in society? Well that is what blacks, Asians and minority groups within London and the U.K face every single day. It is a serious problem which exist but because people refuse to acknowledge it then it appears to not to exist. Utopia does not exist even if we like to think it does. I come to the forum to escape at times but when people take things to an extreme level here it bothers me a lot. We all like to have fun, a little laugh at times but we should never lose sight of reality.

Seriously though I should've known the priorities on this forum when I joined. I never once thought about ASRs experience or lack of it with previous girlfriends, or thought about his sex life ever. And then I join IF a few months ago and apparently it's one of the biggest, most debated topics. I should've known 😆

I don't want to mention more but age doesn't justify ignorance. My 10 year old cousin goes fundraising around the neighborhood for our local mosque but is still obsessed ith normal 10 year old kid stuff and shows. Reality is harsh and everyone will face it one day or another, in some context..better to realize this sooner than later.
