'What are you saying?' he asked holding her shoulders with wide eyes.

'Yes Anant!' she continued with a drop of tear, about to come out of her eyes and bowed her head down 'I am not ready for this now' and went and sat on the bed.

Anant went and sat below her, bending his knees and took her hands and said 'But why?'

'Anant! It's only 2 months since we got married. We have so much to see, so much to learn before we get into such a big responsibility. Don't you know raising a kid is so difficult? I have just started learning things as wife and now mother?

'I am always there with you Navya!' he said 'Why are you thinking so much?'

I know you are there with me Anant! And you are the best husband in the world. But I don't want our kid to suffer what I had suffered during my childhood. You know even I was born very early after my parent's marriage. That time mom was not even of my age. She was also working like me and couldn't give much time. That's why I had to go to boarding school. I don't want the same situation for our kid. And and what about my career? She asked removing her hands out of his 'You know our project has just started and will it be fair on my part to ask for leave when I am just back from it?

'But Navya! Every company has certain flexibility for expecting women employees. And I am sure, when you tell them, they will not have any problem' he said trying hard to change her mind. 'And why do you think your career will stop? There are so many successful women in my office having kids'

'You are not understanding what I am trying to say Anant!' cutting his words she continued with heavy voice 'I am not saying my boss will not agree, I am saying it's not good from my part to ask for leave again and again. And also, this is my dream project and I don't want to give it to somebody else. Please understand this is not the right time' she said with tears rolling down from her eyes.

Seeing her tears he got up and sat close to her on the bed and cupped her face wiping the tears with his thumbs 'Listen to me! Look into my eyes' and she raised her eyebrows to meet his brown eyes 'Please don't cry. Take it as God's gift to us. Sometimes we should grab happiness when it comes our way and not wait for the right time. If something is happening, it must be for good'

She felt that he is still not understanding her point and hence removed his hands with her both hands and looked to the other side. Anant took a deep breath and looked down and said 'Ok!'

With this she turned back and gave a tight hug and said 'Thank you Anant! Thanks for understanding me'. Though she said this there is still a guilt occupying her mind that she is not doing the right thing but the pain can be seen clearly in his eyes trying hard to shed his tears.

At night, in bed Anant gave a good night kiss on her forehead like always and when she was about to hold him, he turned to the other side. This surprised her as he always sleeps facing her and sleeps on his chest but today why he turned? She went closer to him and holds his waist with his right hand. Seeing this he holds her hand with his left hand and took it near his heart which relaxed her but then he wiped the tears coming out of his eyes and closed them.

Next morning, in breakfast table when Anant was reading newspaper wearing his office wear, plain grey shirt and black trousers, and Navya with her pink salwar suit, was having her toast lost in her own thoughts. Though Anant was reading the newspaper, but nothing is going into his head as he is still under the shock which he got last night.

'Anant!' she called looking at him and he put his paper down and replied 'Hmm'

'Do you feel, what I want to do is not right?' she asked as she is herself not able to free her mind.

'Do you want to know the truth?' he asked with moist eyes to which she replied 'Ya' raising her eyebrows.

'Then listen. No, you are not doing right' he continued 'But I will always support you in your decisions'

Now this is something which left her brain puzzled. His words gripped her mind and made her feel that though he is supporting her as he loves her, he is not happy with her decision. The little freeness which she got last night has again gone for a toss as he is the one whose words matter for her the most. A little diversion of his attention makes her mind restless.

She decided to go to a different doctor near her office today. The clinic is very near to the main road. While she was sitting in the room outside the doctor's cabin along with few other patients, one small boy of around two years of age was playing with his ball. When his mom was busy filling up the form, he suddenly he went outside without anyone noticing except Navya and quickly went to the road as the gate was open. Navya noticed it went behind him and when she reached near the gate, she saw a big shuttle coming towards the boy. This widened her eyes and she quickly went near him and pulled him towards her and then shuttle passed by with a roar. The boy started crying, getting the sudden shock. Navya started breathing high as she too got the same shock. His mother came running and holds the boy tightly and checks if he is alright. Others also come and come near them. She cries and holds him tightly and hugs him and kisses him with the fright that he might have lost him today. One lady holds Navya in her hand and shoulder to make her comfortable.

'Thank you. Thank you so much for saving my son's life' the mother said with teary eyes 'If you had not seen him today, I would have…' and started crying hard to which Navya went and consoled her.

After sometime, they all went back inside and sat on their places. The lady was still holding her son tight on her lap. Navya noticed the pain the lady was going through seeing the glipse of the saved accident. She is thinking how can anyone be so careless by not keeping an eye on such a small kid. Though she was angry at her but still controlled herself not to tell anything as she is already in trauma. While she was thinking all these, something clicked her mind that what is she doing? One side she saved other's kid and in other side wants to kill her own? At least this lady became irresponsible unknowingly but is she not being irresponsible knowingly? How can she pinpoint at others when she herself wants to end the life of their love before coming into this world'

'Navya Bajpai?' the assistant called and she came back from her thoughts and said 'Yes' and got up and went inside the cabin.

There is a beautiful lady doctor wearing a nice mysore silk saree with big eyes and long voluminous pleated hair waiting for her. She offered her to sit and asked few details about her like name, age, maritial status. When she asked about husband's name Navya said 'Anant Bajpai' to which the doctor suddenly stopped and paused for some time and asked 'Anant Bajpai?' to which Navya replied 'Yes'

'Ok' the doctor replied and asked 'So what is your problem?'

'I just wanted to take a second opinion if everything is all right' Navya quickly replied and gave her the reports'

The doctor checked the reports and after a deep dive, replied 'Yes, everything is perfect' with a smile.

'Thank you' Navya replied with a smile and before leaving asked 'Sorry doctor, I didn't get your name'
