Part 33😊:

Navya got a big shock and felt like someone banged on her head with a hammer. Pammi is very happy hearing this and was congratulating her but she is not listening as her mind got occupied with this unexpected news. 'How can this happen so soon? I am only 23. I have so much to achieve in life. And Anant? How will he react? It's only around 2 months that we have spent time together. Is he ready to be father so soon?' these thoughts started doing rounds circling the brain instructing that this is not the right time for a child to come into their life.

Soon her concentration broke by the doctor calling her 'Navya! These are your reports. You need to take appointment for next month' to which she nodded and the doctor continued 'One thing, you need to be very careful these three months. Infact, I would suggest you to take leave from office for at least a month'

'But doctor!' Navya cutting her conversation 'I can't take leave now'

'I am not saying it's a must' she said 'But it's good if you take rest till the baby gets settled in your body'

With this she became silent and listened to the doctor whatever she said and then took her file and left with Pammi. She insisted Pammi not to tell this to anyone till she says to which Pammi agreed like an obedient neighbor.

At office, Navya is not able to focus her mind at work with her pencil between her two fingers bent on her head with her chin up, looking at the ceiling. She is in deep thoughts on what will happen now? She is getting scared of the thought of the responsibilities coming in with a new person in their life. She is not prepared now and neither will Anant be. Their married life has just started. There is so much to do. She has to get settled in her career, visit new places. So many things.

'Hi Navya!' a lady wearing a salwar with a traditional look with jasmine flowers decorating her hair called which brought Navya back to her real world and she replied 'Hey! Hi Sujatha, how are you doing? How come here?'

Navya met Sujatha in one of the seminar conducted in Hotel Leela Palace for interior designing, where both were sitting together and got introduced and soon became good pals because of the same interest in designing. Sujatha is 4-5 years elder to Navya. They gelled very well with each other. Navya had gone there from her college and Sujatha from her company.

'I work here only' said Sujatha sitting on the chair next to her 'I was on maternity leave. I work here as Designer' which made Navya to think that how come a senior person like her can be still in the same level as her. Sujatha noticed it and said 'Actually, after 1 & years of working here, I got the news and had to take leaves and I missed my promotion. 'You see, family comes first' then suddenly she is called by one girl saying 'Vijay is calling you inside' and she said nodded and left saying bye to Navya.

Now Navya is more scared as she doesn't want to be same situation as she hasn't got her letter yet. If she has to take leave, she might miss her promotion. And it's not fair from her part also to go on leave leaving the project in middle. She is completely confused on what to do. She was about to call Anant but then thought she should not disturb him now as he must be in the meeting and decided to tell him after he comes back tomorrow. She really wished that Anant was with her now. She is not feeling well at all and was all the time going to washroom due to nausea feeling.

'Love you' Anant said in her ears from behind when she was in kitchen cutting vegetable for dinner which gave her a shock and he gives her a hug from back with his eyes closed making Navya feel relaxed with an inch of her tension and said 'How are you feeling Jaan?'

She turned her face a little and she said 'Ok' and he gave a kiss on her left cheek and she gave a smile and turned completely to his side facing him looking into his hazel brown eyes after two days. Anant got a chance and locked her waist with his hands with a grin.

Navya is deeply looking into his eyes trying hard to think how to tell him. Anant is also looking at her eyes feeling happy after seeing her after two long days. He is in so much love with her that he cannot stay without her even for one day. There was not even an hour, a minute, a second that he didn't remember her but couldn't call her much due to official engagements. Slowly he lessened smile after seeing a tension in her eyes which is hiding her graceful smile which always fills his heart with happiness and he asked 'What's wrong?' with worry showing on his forehead.

'I need to tell you something' she said 'Let's go to the room'

They went inside the room and Navya sat on the bed and Anant sat next to her 'What happen Navya?'

She faced him and with still balancing herself with her hands on the bed and without wasting anytime said 'Anant! I am pregnant'

'What?' he got up from the bed 'What did you say?'

'I said, I am pregnant' she repeated and looked at him and got up.

'Wow, wow, wow' and he moved his hair backside with his hands with excitement and got into the bed and started jumping. Navya is surprised to see his reaction as she thought he will not like it. He got down from the bed and lifted her in his arms and made circles with happiness but then soon realized that it's not good for her and kept her back on the floor and pulled her and gave her a tight hug. He is so happy that he is feeling out of the world at the moment. The two good news on the same day has filled his heart with loads of happiness. One is his promotion to Sr. Manager and other is this. The whole family knows about his fondness on kids. Whenever the ladies had to go out for some reason, they prefer to keep their kids with him as he is best with them by playing, pampering, feeding everything. And now when he is going to become father he felt like getting the whole world in his dear wife's hands.

'Thank you thank you thank you so much Navya!' he said 'You don't know how much happiness you gave me today. I love u I love you I love you so much' hugging her tightly and kissing her on her cheeks and neck. He then cupped her face and was about to lock her lips but then she interrupted by saying 'Anant! I don't need the baby now. Can we..??
