I'm guessing that if all she ever cooks is kheer, she doesn't need a kitchen or stove.

Actually, this part I don't believe. I believe Parvati makes only icecream, and that's all that Mahadev, Ganesh & Kartikeya ever have. Nandi & the ganas too!
