She enters Kushi's body and gains control over her mind...and loves Ashu (She is his mom and hence doesn't call him Uncle..it is always Ashutosh)

She makes inroads into his heart and shows malice towards Nidhi bahu...she hates dadi bua because she is scared that she might occupy "maa-ki-jagah" in Ashu's heart.

The Mathurs decide to get the ghost exorcised but Ashu puts his foot down and says that he doesn't want to lose his mother once again...

"Har baccha apne maa ka karzdaar hota hai...Mai ab Kushi ka baap banke apna yeh karz chukaunga"

Guess - Time to end the show with happily ever after - Falling in love was a hurried process, then MUs & finally a beautiful wedding. But ever since wedding , only useless tracks have been shown- Mental Mallika, Khushi. The Only post-wedding sensible track was about the decision to have a baby now or to focus on career.

Most of us would hate to see ashnI MUs & separation and as per KP - there is no story without a conflict...

So seriously, they can not show baby now and they do not have the ability to come up with any ER/ hospital drama . they do not even want to show cute romantic moments or marriage making perosnality changes... So what do they show now ???
